āāPart Oneā? This is new! Is this because itās a long post?ā
The answer is yes. We had to split this up into 3 parts, because there is no way even the most patient person would want to read all of what we had prepared in one go.
Keep in mind, that these posts donāt run in succession with each other. What theleftpill says is set at a different time than where the rest of the story begins, but we inserted it in there because it shows the contradictory nature of some people.
First, weāll begin with this. We appreciate that some sherlollians are humble enough to know you shouldnāt bother Johnlockers, whether anon or not, baiting or direct, what have you. We agree that Johnlockers shouldnāt do the same, but there lies an inner problem with that fact, and we will touch on that shortly.
This is good news, right? Theyāre aware of their own members doing wrong things and they agree they should be better than this. Good, right? What a good start! Weāre not even being sarcastic here; we appreciate the fact that we could all get along in the future if this sticks.
..... Well what happens when an anti posts about TJLCers complaining about one of the showās writers and tags it ājohnlockā and ātjlc?ā Hereās the post. It appears that diglestrade is another one of those people that believe s4 wasnāt terrible and that we ... called Mark straight...? Sure, some of us were hurt that Mark would queerbait even though heās a gay man, but we never did call him straight. Nevertheless, the post was tagged johnlock and it upset a few to reply to diglestrade. We blacked out the URLs of the johnlockers out of respect.
Diglestrade, if you didnāt want to start an argument, ⦠maybe donāt?
Diglestradeās response is quite amusing [āStop fighting me and start fighting your own kindā] ā says the person who lights up a match and throws it into a field.
Whoa. Okay, letās shine the light on two things. One, is what the johnlocker says:
Remember that theleftpill said to stop sending hate to tjlcers/johnlockers. Granted, this is of course also counts baiting them to a fight. Because if weāre all so hoping for peace in this fandom, it has to start somewhere. With anybody. Right?
And then diglestradeās conclusion:
Ohhhhhh, so you still ship Johnlock, diglestrade? Well now weāre even more upset with you! Thatās pretty embarrassing for us to know a fellow āJohnlockerā is stirring up shit just to make the rest of us look bad.
Diglestrade went back to doing what they do best:
Wow. For someone who starts a fight and tags it johnlock, they sure do get pissed off when johnlockers come forward to defend themselves. āIām going to tag them and bait them,ā giggles an anti. [Half an hour laterā¦] ā[scratching head] This is not going how I expected it.ā
The tagging business is something else. If a post is tagged johnlock and is created to provoke us, those who respond are treated with vehemence and that we deserve it. Of course, the sherlollians are all about their system of tagging and preach constantly on the matter that you should never tag Sherlolly in a post thatās baiting them, insulting them, hating them. So why is it that when Johnlockers get tagged in a similar post, the sherlollians donāt give a damn, and at times even laugh at us?
Soooooo, sherlollians get to preach peace and WE CANāT? Itās okay to multi-ship, but if you just ship Johnlock youāre a dick? Itās okay for sherlollians to tag johnlock in posts like these, but weāre not allowed to tag sherlolly even in harmless gifsets? We canāt have pleasant conversations with nice sherlollians without one of their own poisoning the water? We can defend one of our own when theyāre being attacked? What we call ājoining a conversation,ā THEY CALL āHIJACKINGā, AND THEY DO IT??
We do believe that tagging does apply when calling out particular behaviors, but not when youāre bored and youāre seeking a thrill to watch some shippers get mad. Thatās not how it works. Weāre sure a lot of antis have blocked us because they believe weāre āhating on themā, but weāre not TJLCschadenfreude, weāre not out to expose everyone. Just the ones that practice nastiness and hypocrisy on a normal basis.
It sounds like not everyone took theleftpillās instructions to heartā¦
Next on Part Two: one of the sherlollians mentioned in this post goes against her own word, and a johnlocker has a *gasp* rather civil conversation with a sherlollian! What are the odds. Stay tuned.

Yeah, John didnāt need to know how Donovan and Anderson did get together. He had been satisfied with just what he knew from the first time Sherlock deduced them. Right now, it was Greg Lestrade he should be focusing on. He took a quick deep breath, probably to calm his nerves.
Ā Ā Ā Ā āPlenty people around and you choose me.
Ā Ā Ā Ā ---We canāt just leave together.ā
this is where the anatomy of any relationship begins to whither like a decaying lung with every puff of nicotine that gets inhaled into its system. itās where the mistakes of her actions make itself present and her regret on the matter begins to flourish with every agitating breath. sheās well aware of his marital status - had been from the beginning when she took notice of the ring upon his finger and the continuous mentionings of it he felt best not to leave ignored. for that, she had respected him. to stella, this was no more an affair than it was a righteous insentive. his wife had cheated and so he felt the need to do the same. stella merely made herself available for the possibility. but these things never quite ended the way they initially were intended. sex was sex, emotions were another thing entirely.Ā
setting down her pen, she disregards the paperwork in front of her for the time being and proceeds to lean back within her seat. a deep exhalation releases as she does so with fingers clasping together in her lap. silence still lingers for a moment longer and for a moment itās as if she doesnāt even blink as her eyes remain focused on him.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā and...? ā

This person is the first person I ever RPed with on tumblr. Their Sebastian Moran lured me into the fold, and Iāve been here ever since! They are a writer, an artist, a prop maker, a costumer, and a cosplayer, and Iām starting to think thereās very little they canāt do when they put their mind to it.Ā
This Lestrade is believable and well-written. The mun is very dedicated to their portrayal. They put careful thought into Lestradeās motivations and relationships, add realistic detail to his mannerisms, and thereās a good reason theyāre admired and well-respected: theyāre very good at what they do!
The pair had known each other for many years. Molly Hooper worked in the depths of St Barts hospital and Greg Lestrade as one, if not the best members of Scotland Yard as their Detective Inspector. They became friends long before Sherlock Holmes met John Watson, long before the story that everyone came to love.
Molly could never deny the fact that she had a lasting crush on Lestrade for nearly the entire time. He was handsome, funny, strong... everything you wanted a man to be! But she was too shy to ask him out and therefore loved from a distance. Her own history with relationships had never been great and the fear of messing another off, forced her to retreat from trying again
But, many years later and after the events of Reichenbach Fall, Sherlockās return and near death and the Watsonās wedding, she discovered he felt the same and they decided that it was time they stop fooling themselves and began seeing each other. At first it was quite casual with occasional dates out, a few to Gregās favourite pub. But soon grew more loving between then. Frequent lunch dates made it nicer too.
She knew his job would be taxing for them both and some days were harder. This was one of those day. From their usual texts throughout the day, Molly could tell he was struggling a lot. She decided to take half day and headed into town to get some bits to surprise him for that evening.
Ā Ā Ā Sherlock slowly lifted his head once more; eyes moving to look over at Lestrade again. His hands sunk in to the pockets of his coat and a deep breath left his nostrils.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āĀ If you are talking of my state after Maryās demise then I am sorry Lestrade. Granted, my opium levels may have been slightly out of hand, but I still had everything under control.Ā ā
