THIS. THIS ARTICLE. Where has it been my entire life? I can't tell you how many times I've had this conversation with adults about how our generation supposedly can't survive one minute without our technology and as a result is "missing out on life." The reason I feel so passionate about this article is not due to the points the author makes (these are the exact same ones I've made in the past!). Instead, it's because the author is from the same, older generation that fuels these stereotypes. Maybe my age and bias caused me to come across as defensive rather than pragmatic, and that's why I've never successfully convinced an adult about my stance. Regardless, it's refreshing to know that there are some adults who understood and respect our digital presence.
