He's , decidedly , kept somewhat of a distance between them ever since that day on the beach . He couldn't help it , she's been in his head constantly . Out of fear or something else , he could barely look her in the eye . Interactions were brief , and outwardly he stayed lighthearted . Inside , he was panicking . It's only been a week .
It was bound to happen that they'd bump into each other again when no one else was around , long after adventuring hours . And when they did , he practically froze before her . That familiar grin spread across his face , β Oh , hey ? Didn't think I'd see you . β

It continued to be hard to defer time in this place, but as the flow of existence in digital code continued on, the night and day cycles were all they had to judge days. So, yeah - maybe it has been a week and it was definitely noticed by Pomni. He wore his everyday smile, but his mannerisms spoke volumes. Something it seemed like only she was catching on to. It was nearly impossible to catch him, let alone by himself but today, it seemed to be the fateful day for their paths to cross. For them to talk again.
Pomni watches him, taking in the essence of him and his words; something... seemed off but in hopes of him not turning tail, she tries to keep things light.

How are you doing, Jax? β
