1.29.2022 Today was huge for me. Two of my favorite things, in public, neither of which I’ve done much in the past two years. Missing people and things I enjoy something fierce - this was a good day. First live theatre since the pandemic (went to productions at @shakingthetreetheatre in past two years but not live) - saw The Great Leap by Lauren Yee @portlandcenterstage / @artistsrep with @lisanicolejarrett (thanks to @lehua_m._taitano who shared tickets she couldn’t use due to a stupid flight cancellation - thank you Lehua and Lisa!). First exhibition in PDX in a few years - loved Poetics of Landness, Poéticas de las Tierras, Landaktig Poesi at @carnationcontemporary by Amaut Gomez Sanchez @arely_amaut (Cusco, Perú), Sigrid Espelien @cgrid_sigridespelien (Oslo, Norway), and Stacy Jo Scott @sdotjo (Oregon, USA. So great to see you, too @someladyvee !! I am still not comfortable, worried about Covid, and feeling awkward in public.
