Lanie and Malia: Dad here. I want to speak candid with you for a moment. In public. I have shared a ton of stories of my past. Some of which some have called authentic wild and vulnerable. The reality is most of them don't really matter to most. What mattered for me is that I shared them for you. Years ago I had an experience of a loved one passing. And as promised, just like I said years ago, lots of memories have started to fade. Unfortunately there really is no place to go back to and learn from as many lessons as possible that the particular loved one had taught me. I simply must rely on my subconscious mind and some of my habitual factors. You two girls have an amazing opportunity. You can read my story. You can see my adventure. You can learn from our experiences. Your mom and I have taken great risks in our lives. Some of which have failed fantastically. Others have exceeded our biggest expectations. I want to leave a message for you here about the reality of life. Most people have an overly active inner critic. They feel like a fraud but in truth they were afraid of failure. Failure is a big part of life. Failure is a big part of process. It's been said "fear can be created quickly but trust can't." This is a very slow process. On digital media you must be authentic, you must be patient, you must be consistent, and the benefits will come. The vulnerability of our story has come up time and time again. I want you to know our story is not for everyone. Our story, the story i've left for you through the hashtag Digital Legacy, is one that you may find exciting when you finally get the opportunity to read it. And more importantly it is one that was created for you. Your Mom and Dad love you with all our hearts and everything that we've got. And no matter what happens in life promise me you will never let fear stop you from doing anything you want to do in life. Not doing something because of fear will be your greatest regret. I promise you that. I see it happen, time and time again, by others. FEAR stops them in their tracks. Don't let it stop you. Love Mom and Dad.❤️ #Digitalalegacy (at Livermore, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/B42PY72HpxX/?igshid=19vx3oflbnpcx
