Poppy slowly made her way up the spiral staircase only looking down to see where her friend was before continuing higher, she ran her paw along the wall as she climbed to help her keep her balance as she climbed the crumbling stairs. Soon the vixen could see the end of the staircase which seemed to just end at a small door, Poppy sped up her climb and quickly got to the door leaning on it for a few moments as got her breath back "I wonder what's through this door?" she wondered out loud. A scream rang through the halls and up to Poppy and she twirled around in shock and looked down the staircase "Angel! are you alright?" she yelled as loud as she could, no answer came and the fox regretted coming to this castle as she twirled around to go back down the staircase. Suddenly stairway went dark as a freezing gust of wind blew out the torches beside the vixen, a shiver went up her spine and she let out a quiet yip as something touched her. Then suddenly she felt something hit her hard on her head making her collapse to the ground, the sound of evil laughter ringing in her ears before she lost conciousness and the creature dragged her through the lone door which slammed shut behind her...

                                           The End...? -sniff- well guys this is the last page...so much has happened to me since I first drew this comic traditionally that I thought I'd never get the guts to post it but here we are at the end of a very weird and wonderful experience I hope you had as much fun reading this comic as I have had drawing it/ losing it/ getting it back/writing the story :D

The doors creaked loudly as they slowly opened to reveal the torchlit hallway beyond, Poppy gasped as she causiously padded inside her feet making a dull patting noise on the floor as she ran her hand paw over the weirdly shaped stones on the walls. "Now keep your eyes open for a phone or a door so we can ring for the recovery truck then get the hell out of here" Angel stated as she grabbed one of the torches off the wall. "Okay I'll look up those stairs to see what I can find, I'll shout down if I find anything" Poppy said heading towards a grand looking spiral staircase that curled upwards to teh floor above, "alright I'll look around down here and yell if I see anything" Angel replied as the vixen started padding carefully up the staircase.

The girls made it to the grand doors of the old castle as the crescent moon appeared from behind the spiked towers, the pair looked at each other silently questioning who should try to open the door. Angel scanned the doors spotting a rusted handle which she attempted to pull but it wouldn't budge even when she pushed it as hard as she could, "it won't open...maybe it's locked". Poppy scanned her eyes over the large doors which seemed to be built out of mahogany wood; she then placed a paw on the rusty handle and twisted it around so it was upside down then pushed it down. There came a loud thump then the sound of something unlocking, the pair looked at each other with wide eyes before looking back to the doors as a crack of light appeared in the middle of them.

As the two girls drew nearer the figure turned out to be confused looking wolf who swirled around as he heard them approach "oh t-t-thank god I tthought I was all a-a-alone out here...could yyou nice ladies p-p-please point me in the ddirection of the t-t-town?" the wolf said with a slight stutter. Angel produced a pencil from her pocket and scribbled a little map and directions on a piece of paper andhaded it to the lost wolf "here you go sir, follow those directions and use the little map and you should find the town no problem". The wolf smiled and shook Angels hand "t-thankyou ladies nnow I can return hhome" he said with a chuckle before slinking past the pair and heading towards the broken car clutching the piece of paper in his paw. Poppy looked around as the wolf left seeing that they were stood in front of a rusted gate which was held open by the overgrown grass around the bottom of it, "well I recognise this gate it leads to the old castle on the hill, it's been empty for years but it may have a phone we can use". Angel smiled as she heard this and slipped through one the gaps in the gate "then lets get moving it's getting rather dark out here and I'm not a fan of being out late at night", Poppy nooded and followed Angel through the gate trampling some flowers as they made their way up the hill.

The little car trundled through the countryside shaking slightly as it drove over the very damaged road, Angel had resorted to scanning the road map that was perched on her lap "the map says the hotel I'm staying in is down this road on the right". Poppy looked at the road ahead with a frown as she carefully steered the car around the large potholes that were absolutely everywhere, "I never even knew this road was here or that there was a hotel just outside of Starfall". The sun slowly disappeared behind a group of trees on the horizon, the vixen clicked on her headlamps as the darkeness quickly consumed the road ahead of them. With a surprizing clunk the car came to a sudden stop shaking the girls stapped inside, the pair stumbled out of the car ina daze and Poppy opened up the bonnet only to met with a cloud of smoke. "Damn...my poor little car this road has pretty much killed it...and just after I got it fixed too" Poppy said with an exasperated sigh, Angel looked around thinking of a way of of their predicament when she spotted a shadowy figure just down the road "hey maybe we can ask for directions to the nearest place then we can call for the breakdown truck and continue are journey that way". The fox looked up from the bonnet to find her human friend swiftly making her way down the broken road, she sighed once more closing the bonnet, grabbing her keys from the ignition and sprinted to catch up with Angel who had covered quite a distance despite her short legs and heavy boots.
