Earth Rise
On the 24th December, 1968, pictures of the Earth rising over a lunar landscape were taken, however, the most famous of such images was not the one above, as this was taken in black and white.
Rather, the 2nd image taken with a colour film took as the more iconic image.
However, with modern digital technology, we're able to bring the black and white image back into Colour (top image), giving a glimpse of the beauty of our planet, at least, before a deranged mad man decided to destroy it all after losing his mojo.
