Guy hadn't expected much from the day. He hadn't expected much from life for a long time. He hadn't expected anything from just another day at work, enduring the harassment from his colleagues and the anxiety for the shift ending. Therefore, and because the man always acted with a certain indifference and apathy towards everything, he didn't expect the oldest of his colleagues to return from a cigarette break with a shotgun in his hand. He didn't expect to live. Nor to be kidnapped. And much less anything that came after that, still terrified by the man and in shock from the events.

Jasper, it seems, has taken it upon himself to fix Guy's pathetic life. This might have been an easier task if the boy had cooperated instead of looking at him with those puppy-dog blue eyes, ready to burst into tears at any moment.

You can't blame Jasper for taking the boy's virginity along the way. Guy certainly doesn't.
