Digiwrimo Update
Hey guys! Got some updates for Digiwrimo!
1.) Date: January 2022, all month
2.) Name: I modelled this event off of Nanowrimo, but there’s absolutely no reason to limit it to writers! So I was thinking of renaming the event to Digimonth, or some variation thereof. Digimonth: Create! Something like that? I need to decide soon, though.
3.) I guess I need to make a discord server and a tumblr account for this event, which I will probably do in October, so expect another update then.
4.) All creatives are welcome, and you can work with any kind of digimon content (all seasons, games, drama CDs, whatever)! The goal is to create together consistently for a month, and hopefully establish a creative habit. There are no prompts; use this time to work on your existing/planned projects. Sample goals: create for x length of time per day, complete y items on your pending projects list, make z number of drawings/reach x words written in January, etc.
5.) This is going to be a lowkey event. I’ve never held one before, and I may totally stink at it, so I’m trying to keep my expectations at the “have fun and create” level.
6.) The exact rules are TBA, but all tagged material/reblogged material on the main blog and discord discussions must be at the teen rating or lower, as I cannot know how old participants are (ie no explicit/graphic material).
7.) If you’re interested in this event, please start planning your projects now! Time has been bonkers for me these last two years or so, don’t let January sneak up on you!
