The sixth and final image of this Digimon/Tekken crossover series. As though going full-circle, this one features SymbareAngoramon as Lee Chaolan from Tekken 5. This guy gave off that "excellent" vibe, so it was between Lee or Violet; however, I didn't feel right applying a full suit for this, so the more classic look of Lee ended up being the basis.

The difficult part of this one was trying to figure out the shaping of the body, specifically the legs. The anatomy of SymbareAngoramon is comparably more enigmatic than Angoramon, so I had to make some assumptions. Plus all that fluff in the chest area...obviously the outfit has had to compress some of that, which is visible in the netted areas of the top. But all things considered, he pulls off the look well.

This was an interesting series of images to make. I'm sure other folks out there may have other Digimon they'd imagine as Tekken characters, but I've kept this series to the creatures I'm most fond of, more or less. I have no idea if a Digimon Tekken will ever happen, but hey -- it wouldn't be the first time the two franchises crossed over.

The fifth of the Digimon/Tekken crossover series, featuring Renamon dressed as Kunimitsu from Tekken 2. As well-known and loved as this Digimon is, I hadn't held as strong an attachment, but this was a pretty easy connection to make in terms of an appropriate character fit.

Renamon is using two daggers here like the Kunimitsu from Tekken 1, and is wearing the half-mask from Tag 2. It looks better on Renamon than the full mask. Admittedly the details of the outfit have been made simpler -- I couldn't get a great glimpse of the intricate details, but I felt they weren't significant enough to present.

Despite the outfit being simpler than those of previous images in this series, it felt difficult to make this look good because of Renamon itself. I tried my best to make it work.

This version of the image removes Kunimitsu's mask. I feel like without the mask, it's not a huge difference between regular Renamon and this one with clothing.

So I had an idea for Halloween last year that I played around with in my head, but didn't have the energy or drive to actually do. For whatever reason I wanted to take some of my favorite Digimon and dress them up as Tekken characters. Considering Tekken apparently isn't foreign to the Digimon universe it didn't seem like the worst idea. It was just being explored by the worst artist. XD

Anyways, the first one I did was Angoramon, dressed up as Bob. It felt like the most natural fit...which thankfully, it managed to fit. Worst case scenario, hair clippers would have been needed to slim him down. (Might've overdone it on the gloves, but I was surprised how detailed those actually were.)

The third of the Digimon/Tekken crossover series, featuring Tailmon/Gatomon dressed up as Lucky Chloe from Tekken 7. This ended up being very tricky, as the outfit had quite a bit of detail that didn't accommodate for this characters proportions, so liberties had to be taken--a few details were either simplified or removed.

Nonetheless, I feel like I was able to incorporate my own ideas of how to best blend things together. For example, rather than the headphones providing "cat ears," they instead provide the extra-long ponytails. Also, we have some stylized boots to match the appropriate coat with mittens.

This was the last DigiKen concept I initially thought up; the series essentially took the Digimon creatures that I personally liked and incporporated fun Tekken outfits for them that I thought were appropriate. With that said, I aimed to complete these before Halloween, and I still have some time before then, so I may make one or two more with Digimon that I at least *kinda* like. We'll see what happens.

The second image of this Digimon/Tekken crossover series, we have Galgomon/Gargomon dressed as Prototype Jack from Tekken 2. I could've gone with any standard Jack model considering the vibe Galgomon kinda gave me, but I figured the prototype had a more interesting outfit going on. But as I put the ideas together I wasn't satisfied with just replicating the costume, as I worried it wasn't enough.

So I decided to modify the hands with new appendages, based on the hands of Prototype Jack from Tekken 1. There's a claw from the Player 1 costume, and a spinning mace from the Player 2 costume. While I don't know the mods' colors are correct, I went with it anyway to channel the essence of the fingerless gloves the newer P. Jack would wear. And yeah, Galgomon doesn't seem to have the kind of "muscle" a Jack would usually have, so he just drew some on the shirt. He didn't kick away that crayon after he did...

It is unknown if this Galgomon can fly, but he's at least got the pose down.

The fourth of the Digimon/Tekken crossover series, featuring Gaomon dressed as Steve Fox from Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection. I hadn't really known this Digimon very much before I did this, but it seemed appealing to me, and out of the Tekken fighters I think I picked a good match -- the gloves certainly helped with the choice.

The strap by the waist is typically akin to a belt, but in this case it's actually the bandana that Gaomon often wears. The shirt design was slightly altered to reference a little bit of Digimon as well -- rather than an arrangement of decorated shields, the shapes were made to resemble a type of Digivice.

I think I may have unintentionally given Gaomon longer arms and legs. But it was already tricky applying this particular pose. Plus I've already noticed since starting this little project that design details tend to be somewhat inconsistent.
