Hello Chosen around the globe!

Camp Digimonth is hosting a Digimon screenshot redraw event in January 2025! To participate, redraw a screenshot from any Digimon media, of any characters/scene! Redraws of merchandise/promotional art are also allowed! Background redraws too, Digimon has some gorgeous scenery.

The redraw event is open to anyone who is interested, not just Chosen Campers on the Camp Digimonth server! To have you work reblogged to the Camp Digimonth blog, simply:

-Make sure the image obeys the Camp Digimonth content rules (additionally, no naked or shirtless characters)

-You must include the original screenshot that you are drawing. The comparison is half the fun :D

-All entries must be positive (no character bashing/season bashing/ship bashing/etc)

-@ this blog and tag all entries: #digimonredraw2025

It's January 1! Happy New Year! Time to declare my Camp Digimonth 2025 goals, yaaay! For info on the Camp Digimonth Tumblr event, please check here!

-Complete at least one drawing for the Digimon Screenshot Redraw event. I will at least be trying to redraw an image of Miyako from Kizuna, I've already started the sketch. Queen is gorgeous in that film.

-I've been taking a break from sharing my fandom stuff (more here). I also locked my last open fics on AO3 to logged in readers only following the latest case of an individual/company stealing fanfics for profit. I do have a 12 year tradition of updating on my birthday, so... I am hoping to share the next chapter of Infinite Possibilities on Jan 17. We'll see if I can get it polished and if I feel up to it/if we can go a few weeks with no mass fanfic theft x_x

-Continue editing After August to book bind. I started my edits by just trying to remove some typos (proofreading), but uhhh it turns out 2019 was *checks watch* FIVE YEARS AGO. WAIT, SIX!!!! So uh... Proofreading shifted to editing.

Don't worry, though, I'm not making any real changes. Just improving clarity and sentence flow (and proofreading, ofc).

It's time for the January 2025 Camp Digimonth Tumblr event! This month long Digimon content creation event is open to everyone on Tumblr, not just Camp Digimonth members! Camp Digimonth is a create together event that takes place from January 1-31, 2025!

How it Works:  The purpose of Camp Digimonth is to establish creative habits for a new year by making Digimon content together!  Each participant is asked to set their own goals for the month to suit their creative needs.  All kinds of content creators are welcome (writers, artists, gif makers, cosplayers, whatever your heart desires!).  Participants do not need to stick to one medium; you can write and draw!  And remember that planning and refining are vital parts of creation.  If you want to spend the month outlining new projects or editing old ones, that’s great, too!  Content from all Digimon series/games/movies/drama CDs/novelizations/etc is welcome! There are no prompts in this event.  Participants are encouraged to work on existing projects or projects on their to-do list.

How to Participate:  You can be as involved or independent as you’d like!  Use the hashtag #campdigimonth2025 and be sure to @ this blog to mark any post you want reblogged on this Tumblr blog. Tumblr’s tagging system can be buggy, so dropping an @campdigimonth in your post is the safest way to ensure your post is seen. -Declaring goals:  I will start checking the #campdigimonth2025 tag in early January 2025 for your goal announcements!  Once you have landed on a goal for yourself, you can share it with everyone following the Camp Digimonth blog :D  Share what you will make with everyone, so we can get hype for your upcoming content! Here is more info on how to declare goals. -Share your content:  Use the #campdigimonth2025 tag and @ this blog to mark any content you would like shared on this blog from January-March 2025 (the later months are intended for more coverage for multi-chapter fics and comics, or any works too complex to complete in January). -The Camp Digimonth discord is currently closed to new members.

Hello, Chosen Campers!

I am so honored that you lovely Chosen Campers would like another Camp Digimonth event!  I know it’s early, but please look forward to Camp Digimonth 2023, a month long digimon content creation event in January of 2023!  Hooray!

Now, with the number of wonderful digimon events occurring in the fandom, we Chosen Campers realize that blocking a whole exclusive month is not feasible.  So, while we will be holding our event throughout January, please don’t worry about stepping on our toes.  Our creation event is open ended, which allows flexibility- our campers might be cooking up content for your event!  :D  

Please look for more info to come, but I don’t expect too many changes from last year, except for some tweaking of the create in schedules (of course, this is subject to change).  Here are the current rules!

We are closed to new members at this time as we work out our approach.  If you are interested in joining camp digimonth if/when we open, please understand that we are a multi-ship, multi-season/game environment with a zero tolerance policy for bashing of any kind (ship, character, seasons).  Also, all social events must remain on topic, centered on digimon and digimon creations that meet the server rules.  You can contact @ahiddenpath for details.
