"I hate this place."

The lone ranger ignored the boys whining, looking around. Rhodes, a dusty run fown looking place. He had heard about it; two families facing each other, talk of gold. But he was doubtful. As he was with everything.

He put his arm up a bit to cover his face from a blow of dirt from the wind. Gas. The boy on the other horse hissed, looking away as dirt smack his bruised cheek. "I really hate this place."

"Do you like any place?"

"Austin."

The ranger rolled his brown eyes. "Course. The town of violence. Of death. Of crime. No sense of law."

"Well they had some form if it, but then you decided we should move along." The boy shook his head. "But whatever. You make the calls, boss."

One day i'm going to end this kid. The man took a breath and kept his horse going, patting uts neck mindlessly. "We have things to do."

"Who's complaining?"

"You."

The boy smirked, tilting his hat up, smile a bit crooked to let a canine tooth pop out. "Whoops." He teased.

The two entered Rhodes, The lone ranger hopping off his horse, looking. Not many folk around. A veteran asking for money on the side of a dirt path, some lemoyne raiders, some folks going about their day.

"Ghost town." The other scoffed, getting off his steed, wincing. "My clothes are gonna be so dirty."

"Wow, dirt. Dusty. So bad."

"Hey I have a look to maintain. Sir." He mocked then laughed, adjusting the blue bandana around his neck. "I will not apologize for wanting to look good."

"You don't apologize or anything anyway."
