this is a preview of a novel im working on enjoy:Â
Chapter One [you never said goodbye]
White leather robes are perfection, in fact, the whole greek culture is practically is. With vines draping from every corner, now that would be pretty great.
“We could all end up in death!”Oli collapsing on the couch.
“D-death? I still don’t even have a girlfriend yet, Eli!” Marc weeps.
I’m not sure if he's ever gonna get one anyway, always imagined him getting married to his disgusting  PC and becoming some stupid idiotic vlogger. Now, greenery would be absolutely amazing alongside a sculpture, that would be great.
“One mistake and we all could be found to smithereens!” Oli wails.
“Just one mistake,” Marc repeats quivering.
Honestly, the little brat can’t even have his own opinions. Writing is not my best forte, or art, or anything at all I guess, I don’t know. I do like thinking of rooms if that makes sense. Not like an interior designer though, that would be really lame, but just beyond it, it’s something though, nothing more or less to think about.
Gently scribbling a few more lines with my purple sharpie onto my arm.
            lots of vines. green ones.
Absolutely bored, Â beginning to pick my skin behind my cuticles. Eli has been going on and on, almost hours perhaps even centuries. Â Moron. As he continues to drone on and on endlessly, accidentally muttering out a soft groan and then slump to my shoulder. My eyes slowly shut tight when noticing I felt an uneasy wave of awkwardness and realized the others were staring at me, Eli glaring.
“Maisy, I honestly don’t have enough energy to repeat myself. This is important.” He emphasizes.  Â
“Of course it is. It always is.” emphasizing as well.
Longingly groaning, secretly glancing at the others. My smirk quickly disappeared when I remembered there is no others. Just Marc. Stupid Marc. Marc punches my shoulder. Annoyed,  glaring at him even more forcibilly, and he finally scoots away from me. Out of everyone that I can actually stand, I get the idiot, because I’m practically an idiot as well.  Eli continues to go on.
“Maisy listen.” and continues for a few more minutes while pausing to remind me to listen. “Maisy listen.”
“I am, quit telling me to, your not my dad.” He is in silence for a minute.
“Do you understand me?”
“Yes.”
Always being so tense, always being so melodramatic. He leaves the room, nodding towards the door.   I get up out of annoyance. In all honesty, what he was talking about was pretty important, I can’t really deny that one. However, I haven’t been to school, for a long time.  I was excited about something, from a really long time. Â
Finally grabbing my leather backpack, I hop on my bike, excited to leave. Exhilarated as the wind pumps through my hair as I peddle.  Heading to my bus stop, jerking the bike and altering a stop and resting it on the ground, still the same. Someone from behind wraps elegant fingers covered in sparkly and tacky rings around my shoulder blade.  Quickly whipping my head around, getting into an awkward stance with my arms out in front of me.  I feel eased. Lily tilts her head almost naturally and gracefully smiles. It has been so long since I’ve seen her, how amazing it is to see her smile again too.
