SO! It willl be up to you, the author/comic writer to pick what trope the story uses, roughly how it ends, and just how the fiction is written. Fluff, angst and smut are also up to the author. Before I write how the story plots go, I will put the au's in a list so you can pick what you want to work on (Some ships are set due to the writing.) I believe all of these prompts are Grian centered, bet you could never guess my favourite huh?

Another thing to note is that some plots are more developed than others due to the fact that I was in collage when making some of these and time is a tricky thing. Let me know if you need any clarifications on the storys, and tell me where to find them when made! I love reading stuff and seing how people write differently!!! (I do take requests so if you want to see an au prompt written please message me and explain what the au is about and I'll do it for you, whether you want it posted or not.)

Details <Watchers consume negative emotion to feed themselves, positive emotions are like poisons/drugs and have addictive quality so it is banned to experience or feed of them.>

Grian gets 'addicted' to Scar through out the life series.

He starts to hallucinate different universes in hermitcraft as a side effect and falls deper into 'addiction.'

He never ends up happy with Scar and it's always his fault.

This worries the hermits because Grian keeps loosing grip on reality and it's clearly making him feel worse but he won't stop.

Details <Grian had always been more then one person. He was 18 when he first found out he was a system. He has a fast healing factor. All members of the system are aware of what the others have done, but only when they are at front. Ari is flirty, Cuteguy is manipulative but kind, Xelqua is mysterious and self serving, Grian just doesn't care. Ari is popular, Xelqua is feared, Cuteguy is adored (cos cute) and Grian is Grian.>

Grian has multiple personalities, and they all have different forms.

Ariana makes music, Cuteguy is a vigilante, Xelqua is a villian, Grian just works at a collage. Juggling his personalities was difficult, but he managed. Mostly.

Coffee shop au

Owner- Grian.

Staff- Mumbo, Pearl, Jim, Martyn, Big B.

Regulars- Scar, hermits of choice.

Details <The coffee shop is a cover for murder, the staff knows and sometimes participate. Doc makes and supplies wepons and alibies in exchange for free products for him and Ren. Gore is up to the author.>

Scar finds Grian in the middle of a murder and ends up being kidnapped and tortured while Grian figures out a plan. He had never been in a situation like this so he didn't know what to do, a lot of talking takes place in this time. For some insane reason Scar likes being tortured and thinks the whole murder thing was hot, leading to him falling for Grian.

Meanwhile our short friend thinks Scar could be of some use as he held up under torture and gives him a chance to prove himself. Grian was right, Scar did prove himself. By brutally murdering someone Grian picked out.

After being mildly horrified yet also impressed he decides to hire Scar, which was beneficial for the brunette as he needed a job anyway. He then harasses Grian with constant flirting and takes him on a date. A sucsessful date, and the two end up as a couple.

Magic diary au -> ship optional, authors choice

Grian escapes from the watchers but in the process he falls in the Void and his soul gets separated from his body. His soul gets trapped in a magic book while his body remains in the Void. The book ends up on the hermitcraft server and in the admins hands. In order to reunite his body and soul, he persuades Xisuma to do a ritual. Now, a magical talking book trying to make you preform a ritual is somewhat suspicious, but that never fully occurred to Xisuma. Naturally he does as the book says, and now he has a friendly watcher on the server. Luckily he appears human enough to not raise suspicion. What could ever go wrong?

Scientist au -> ship optional, authors choice

Grian- Scientist, Hermits/lifers of choice- expirements

Details <The hermits have been split into groups of two to five(optional) to make the work for Grian easier. ONLY Grian has access to the hermits confinement area(keycard). That area is also where he lives, closest to an exit point if there's a breach of security. He can freely move and socialise the hermits in any way he sees fit. There is a cafeteria the hermits go to for food but they must wear shock collars to leave their rooms. Grian has free reign of what is provided to the hermits as long as it has a beneficial impact.>

Grian works for a scientific company called the Watchers, they expirement on both humans and hybrids. He has recently been given the responsibility of a case refered to as Hermitcraft-6. It becomes his duty to supervise and manage all persons under the 'Hermit' desgination. Even though he disagrees with experimentation and the effects it can have, if he can't stop them, he'll make the lives of the people better.

Shapeshifter au, based off DDVAU

Grian, Scar, Mumbo, Cub, other hermits/lifers of choice.

Details <Grian can technically regenerate limbs, but it takes a lot of energy and in doing so leaves him bed ridden for roughly a week depending on severity. He has fast regeneration and his natural behaviour resembles that of a cat. When he changes form his personality can change too.>

Grian is on the run, not because he did something bad, but because he's a shapeshifter. While gathering hybrid parts has been outlawed, there are still some people who do it, many tend to look past it due to how recently the law has been past.

Which means Grian is in danger, if someone found out about his ability... He would be captured, they would use him to harvest hybrid parts. Continuesly regenerating limbs just for them to be cut off. He doesn't like the sound of that so he runs away to a new city where he ends up being a vigilante.

But what happens when a certain beloved hero gets trapped in a near death situation? He has to shift and save the man, putting himself ina terrifying situation. Yet... this hero, despite how annoying he is, may be different from most others. And now they both have to live with the consequenses of what has been revealed, and what has yet to come.

Pet groomer au. Based off midnight strangers

Details <Grian became a groomer because he didn't think he could handle the emotional burden of being a doctor, so he tried being a vet but he had the same problem when he failed to save a pet. After consideration he became a groomer bc he loved animal sand there was no stress of death. Saying this, I want you to note that Grian has a rather large knowledge of the medical field.>

What if Grian wanted to be a doctor or vet but thought it would be too stressful? What if he went into pet grooming instead?

Maybe he obtains a hot client with a love for all things disney, maybe he finds an injured villian whom he helps out of fear? And maybe the more he sees them the more he gets feelings for them.

We all know and love Grians mimic ability, so what if he copied a healing power to help in extreme abuse or neglect cases? That would reduce the negative effects of the abuse and negligence caused, though not completely removing them.

Mafia au

Grian- Cafe owner & server, Scar- Mafia boss, Cub- Scars right hand man, Mumbo- knows both G and Scar and works part time for them, others of your choice- free reign.

Details <The mafia Scar controls is very well known, though the members less so. They get rid of bad people, like rapists, murders, drug dealers, the classic. They claim to do it for their own benefits, but the people like them so... The mafia do indeed do things like rob places or steal money, but only from bad corporations. The police still try to catch them, but not very hard.>

Scar was always charming, he needed to be. As much as he hated pretending, it always worked, no matter the situation, well, except this one. He tried to dine and dash, it wasn't like he was broke, he had plenty of money. It was just that he was bad, like most mafia people.

So it surprised him when a server called him out, a pretty server. And then he had a thought, "Maybe pretending to be normal isn't so bad..." Because after getting to know Grian, the server who called him out, normal seems like a blessing.

Grian, Hermits of choice

Details <Grian had been used for his feathers as they were very pretty and highly sought after, he always managed to regenerate them but it took a while, he was also mistreated. There ended up being a security breach and he used the panic to escape. Man needs a therapist.>

Hybrids were valuable, very valuable, especially the winged ones. So when Grian escapes from a containment facility he has to go fast. He ends up in a hybrid safe haven called Hermitcraft and ends up residing there. How easy will he heal from the trauma? Will he heal at all? Only time will tell.

Details <Grian has always been good with creative hobbys, his favourite thing to do was to make clothes. Someone submits his work to an outfit contest the heroes arranged and he won. He then gets commissioned to make an outfit for Hotguy , bc we love our slutty little poster boy. Grian does not fan boy over Hotguy, he barely even acknowledges the man. This naturally makes the hero curious, and there goes the peace in Grians life.>

Grian loves making things, whether it's clothes, paintings, photographs, or videos, he loves being creative.

Something, or someone, he hates is Hotguy. But those feelings are, unfortunately, not returned, far from it infact. Hotguy was really fond of Grian, to the point where the small man was his go to for any creative situation. Unfortunately for Grian, he got paid well so he couldn't really complain much, he would still be a pain in the ass though.

Royal/noble au

Grian, Mumbo- common folk. Scar, Cub, nobles.

Details <Scar is a noble, a very influential and rich noble. That means the common folk aren't very fond of him.>

Grian was sent to Scar to inform him of the state the common folk are in, and show how poor they have it.

A romance soon blossoms between the two despite their status difference, as they aim to make life for the poorer people better.

Fae au

Grian- Fae, Scar- Vex, Mumbo- Vampire.

Details <Grian lives in the forrest and he rarely leaves his domain. Why would he? It was a place he had complete control over. Though he did get lonely... But that is not a problem now that he has two pets! Grians actual name is Xelqua, Grian is a cover so he stays safe.>

Scar and Mumbo get lost in the forrest despite several warnings from their friends, after ages of walking around aimlessly they come across a a house in a clearing.

Walking to the front door they question if they should knock, I mean, it's a random house in the middle of a clearing in the forrest.

But before they can do anything the door opens, "Oh you poor things, come inside, don't you know how dangerous this place is? May I have your names darlings?"

Indeed they knew not of the dangers that lurked in the forrest. Nor did they know that you shouldn't ever give your name to a fae. And now they belong to Grian.

Vampire au

Grian- human, Scar & Mumbo- vampires

Details <Grian lived in a city apartment with his boyfriend. He did all the chores so he's good at cooking, cleaning, sorting clothes, general housewife stuff. The castle is not equipped for modern living so renovating is required.>

Grian barely escapes an abusive relationship by leaving in the middle of the night and running into the forrest. While running away he comes across an abandoned castle, and like any reasonable person he decides to to shelter in the probably haunted castle.

Luckily the castle was not actually haunted, not by ghosts at least. He finds out he's not alone pretty quickly after tidying the place up and encountering two strange 'people'.

Fortunately for Grian these vampires are touch starved, and hungry... So he makes a deal, "If you let me live I'll keep the place tidy, and I'll let you feed off me too!" How does Grian deal with a healthy relashionship? A clingy one... but heathy!

Grian, Scar, Hermits of choice

Details <Grian was raised to be an effective assasin, despite his reluctance. He was punished if he refused to partake.>

The Watchers are the most successful assasin company in the world, Grian, a new, and unwilling, hire, is sent on a mission that was sabotaged from the start.

He is sent to target a vex that has been an anoyance for a while, and he fails, miserably. Not only does he fail to kill his target, not that he was going to, but he also gets captured. At least he's trained to withstand torture, but thats the problem, they don't torture him. Far from it.

They were nice, understanding, he didn't get it. He tried to kill their friend, even if it was under orders, he didn't understand.

Were they pretending? It seemed genuine, then again so did the Watchers... Maybe he could trust them?

Devotion au

Details <A gods power relies on how many people believe in them, Watchers can fight to get stronger, or kill mortals, but worship also helps. (Most Watchers- cult, most gods- religion)

Watchers are human made gods, quickly discontinued though.

Gods are real, Watchers are real. Grian is one of them. One of the most powerful too. Mumbo was friends with Grian before he was a Watcher, so now Grian has a garanteed worshipper. They also maybe kiss a few times, wink wink nudge nudge ;D

Details <Xelqua is still in learning, watchers are labled watchlings until they learn to properly carry out their dutys. He's primes favorite because he was the first sucsessful mortal turned watchling. Watchers can be very unethical with expirements, known for sometimes disecting or torturing their given mortal. They have a very bad reputation with mortals.

Xelqua will act like a child because of 1.) Past trauma, yhs (or different) 2.) Because he was about 18 when taken 3.) Spite, if Xelqua acts like a child it makes him harder to control.

(This doesn't mean he's stupid, all he does is deliberately misinterpret things, gets very emotional sometimes demands stuff and have an attitude with the other Watchers.) Every 1 Watcher year is one thousand human years.

Vexes are know for being natural enimies to Watchers, they are chaos, Watchers demand structure.>

Xelqua had always been primes favourite, as reluctant as he was to do his duty, man was he good with magic. Normally, watchers get an (unwilling) usually human mortal to serve them, as hybrids are somwehat rare but, Xelqua was the favorite. So what hapens when he recives a whole server of hybrids?

Oh great, more responsibility, just what I needed! Were the words that frst came to Grians mind when he was told about the mortals he would receive. (Yes he still rejected his Watcher name.) He never expected to get a whole server though! And one full of hybrids?! If Grian didn't know Prime favoured him, he would have thought this was a punishment. Though at least he got his own building...

You wake up with your head ringing. After denying Gojo’s makeout sesh, you had

regretted it so much to the point where you were so close to just turning back to meet those juicy pink lips of his– though of course, your dad had raised you with way more self control than that (unfortunate in this situation).

It’s late in the afternoon and you decide to walk to your nearby Mcdonald’s for your

hangover, hoping to forget about whatever happened with Gojo; I mean, what good would it bring by associating with someone from your dad’s roster? You order a plain Big Mac with large fries and apple pie for dessert. You moan into the bite you take from the burger– “I didn’t know you could make sounds like that”, you abruptly turn your head to the familiar voice, knowing very well who was behind you– it was that damn cocky guy, Gojo.

“Even if you tried, you could never make a sound like that leave my mouth.” You replied

annoyed from your annoying headache as you set your burger down. Gojo sits in front of you, his hands in the pockets of his grey sweatpants. “I’m very confident I can”, he grinned widely, only for your response to be a dramatic eye roll– you’ve lost count on the amount of times you’ve rolled your eyes to his annoying flirty comments. “You wanna bet-?” You cut yourself off before you could finish your response; this is where the line needs to be drawn. Gojo raises his eyebrow suggestively, “oh?” his leg touches yours, “that’s enough, can you stop flirting with me? And forget about whatever happened yesterday, it was a mistake-”, his eyebrows droop slightly “ouch, that’s cold you know?” you continue eating before responding “it’s called setting boundaries.” Are you really setting boundaries? Or are you just trying to stop yourself from falling for a cute playboy like him? Well, we both know the obvious answer.

He follows behind you like a lost puppy– he really isn’t making this any easier now, is

he? “Ok Gojo you-” he grabs your hand, wrapping an arm around your lower back to pull you closer to him. “Please give me a chance, y/n, I swear I’m a great guy and I know I’ve fucked around a lot, but please, I won’t ever be like that around you-” you gently cup his cheek, “I really liked you the moment I saw you outside your dad’s office, please y/n..” he leaned into your hand. OH MY FUCKING GOSH.. How could a man be this adorable? He looked like he just rolled out of bed but was still so unbearinglly fucking hot! The worst part? You looked like shit in comparison, yet there he was, begging for you to give him a chance in dating?! Who is he kidding? “Y/n” his arm locked tightly against you, “you know we can’t Gojo, my dad is literally your coach! He would kill you if he saw you with me, his daughter??!!” he let out a familiar cocky grin, there he was.. “I’m basically the best pitcher on the roster, what is he gonna do about it? You watch the team run laps around the field as they get ready for the day– not to

mention, it had been a few days since you and Gojo had started dating, secretly of course; though it was hard to hide when you both made out every moment you got the chance to. In bathroom’s, the back of his truck, and even in the locker rooms whenever it was empty. You were gambling with your fate, but God, that made it a whole lot sexier. You sit on the dugout like always, watching your dad yell and walk around, it was nothing new, but it was weirdly entertaining seeing hot grown men get scolded by my father over their mistakes– maybe it's funny seeing their high ego’s get deflated, but who knows? You see Gojo running over here, he was in shorts and in the teams t-shirt, covered in sweat– holy fuck.. He’s got a body. “You like what ya seeing?” he purposely lifts his shirt to wipe his sweat. Instead of rolling your eyes, you grin “definitely. Too bad I can’t do anything about it though.” He gets closer “says who?”. He grabs your hand, “the locker room is empty ya know’, you bite your lip, looking at the field and seeing everyone busy, especially your dad, that was the cue to go, fast.
