Diego was having the time of his life now that he was free and inside a vampire’s body. He found surprisingly fun to be a vampire, he was enjoying way too much, feeding his way through an enormous amount of people, compelling whoever he could find and the good thing was that his magic was intact and working perfectly. It was during one of those moments, when he was hapily feeding of someone, that a woman approached him. The warlock recognized her as Caroline’s mother, the sheriff of Mystic Falls. He could easily get rid of her, but it would be so much more fun to him to use her to hurt someone, a certain blonde vampire, who Damon grew to care about.Â
After knocking Liz uncouncious, using a spell to keep her tied to a chair, and sending everyone who was in the Grill away, Diego waited patiently for the blonde vampire to arrive, wondering if she was really going to show up alone, or with Damon’s brother by her side. He was pleased when she walked into the Grill by herself, a smile forming on his lips. “Caroline Forbes. The last Salvatore I had to meet.” He said. “Oh wait, not a Salvatore anymore, are you? Divorces can be rough.”

Personality: Diego, as the rest of his coven, is always hungry for power, dark magic is his best friend. The only thing he cares about is himself and a few selected people from his coven. From the moment he got his powers, all he’s done was wreck havoc, get what he wanted, do what he wanted, being as reckless as he possibily could, not having a care in the world. To him life is a party and people are his toys to play with.
Past: From a very young age, Diego has been the rebel of the family, he never trusted his coven’s intentions, never agreed much with children being sacrificed. Until they had the taste of dark magic. It was addictive, it changed him in ways he couldn’t understand. His carefree ways were still there, he could still show a little bit of the kindness he had before, but his visions on what his coven did changed completely. Diego started to agree with the sacrifices, he went deeper and deeper in dark magic, accepted what his coven was doing as the right thing for all of them. Until they proved him wrong by doing the spell that destroyed his body and trapped them in a prison world.
Present: Now that his coven was released, Diego wants nothing more than to enjoy the lost time. He couldn’t care less about what his coven is planning or revenge, having his own plans of finding the strongest host he can and turn his back on his coven for what they did, and he’ll do anything to get what he wants.
