         " oh, hi! " allie's always sunshine for a familiar face, even, here, at camp, where most faces are familiar. still, things are always changing, aren't they? she ought to be grateful for these lovely things and people that ground her along the way. allie doesn't share any god-blood with them, but she knows how delicate life can be for the demigods, she feels it when she touches them. it makes allie feel even luckier that she gets to stay here, in these woods, to smile and giggle and twirl and only make people happy. for allie, there isn't a world outside of this place.

         in fact, she forgets the rest of it- the world -when she's here. the bonfire spills into the air, the smell soaking into their clothes as they stand around it in crowds of teenagers, carefree, and together. allie's giddy with the feeling, bouncing over to pollux as if she'd run into him, and had no choice but to greet him. the nymph has glitter dusted across her skin everywhere she could manage, a flower tucked behind her ear that's as happy to be there as she. happy, happy, happy! she hopes pollux is happy too, like a sunflower ... oh, they should go find some! it's summer, after all. allie reaches for his hands, wiggling her fingers out in invitation. " come on, come hang out with me! "

“ Ow. ” Pollux’s hands are careful as he works, the white wrap sealing her wound with astounding precision. It’s gentle ( gentler than she deserves ) but the injury is still too fresh for her not to let out a small, displeased hiss.
