In 1951 the Communist puppet government of Hungary constructed a gigantic monument of Joseph Stalin in Budapest. The statue was 8 meters high; if you include the plinth, it stood 25 meters (82 feet) above street level.
Stalin died in March of 1953. 3½ years later, a crowd tore down and defaced the hated Stalin statue during the unsuccessful revolution of 1956.
Except on private property, don't expect to see most of Trump's monuments or his name on things last much longer than him.
