Lucifer knows that any request of his will be granted as long as he asked. This attribute wielded by someone normally reserved and self-sufficient is powerful.

Diavolo can't refuse Lucifer. "Fact". So it explicitly states that in terms of dynamic, Lucifer is socially dominant despite their hierarchy, because, bar Diavolo's role and Lucifers consideration of it, nothing will ever happen to Lucifer that he doesn't also want.

There's something to be said about this coming from the mouth of antagonism, because the instances Simeon comments on their relationship in early days "they don't seem like master and servant, but Lucifer keeps his distance" is coloured by his own motives and characterization (that he feels ostracized by Lucifer as well) and the plot (that Lucifer is hiding things from Diavolo) unlike Mephistopheles who has a vip membership to the Anti-Lucifer Club. He doesn't gain anything from saying this.

Between Lucifer and Satan, Satan's route is the one I enjoy. Not only because Satan's lines are fire, but because dialuci are themselves (acting like friends who actually want to hang out with each other) and the motivation for Lucifer's decision is recontextualized here to be uplifting instead of irritating (to me) which also helps me accept this as Satan's growth and not just having Lucifer spring it on him in the Lucifer route. Very cool of them to add a background BL storyline about unrequited love that dialuci are tasked to defeat too hehe.
