The arrival of their Celestial visitor was marked by a bright light, tearing through the perpetually nighttime sky of the Devildom. That light streaked through the clouds from on high, looking for all the world like a falling star that only got brighter and brighter as it came closer and closer to where they stood. Then there was light. Not the breathtaking light of a shooting star, but bright, searing crimson light, erupting from the collar of his tunic and shining bright enough to blind him. His breath caught in his throat, his chest going tight as realization of what that light was fell upon him. His soulmark had finally been united.
