  Concept Art, for fun, for Dial H for Hero. For those who don't knw, Dial H is about a alien/magic(?) dial that turns the dialer into a random superhero... I think. Who doesn't know now? This is concept art for how the Dial and Heroes could look for CW's Flash, Super girl, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, or a spin off. I designed the dial to look like an ancient stone alien artifact. Inside is glowing ...red energy. A red energy that would be seen throughout the various heroes it creates. Like red lightning, or red fire, etc. Anyway, there have been many users of the Dial and all the drawn characters here are from the comics. From the left of the screen to the right we have: Oxide, for Oxide I took away his helmet and since he has rust powers I designed him yo be all rusty. Next is Sphinx Man. I made him stone, like the Gollum. I imagine he would be done with CG effects but I could see practice too. Behind Oxide and Sphinx Man is Brimstone. For him I designed his costume to look chard and burned. He would wear contacts to make his eyes fiery looking. And his mouth glows fiery too. Back to the front is Marionette. I altered his comic costume a bit. His mask is now flight goggles. The red M on his chest is now worked into the design of his shirt vest thing. The stripes on his arms and legs are now straps. The straps are meant to call yo mind puppet strings. Next to him is The Mole. Him I changed a great deal.in a CW show his comic design wouldn't really work. Google him. So I changed his drill helmet to a drill free one. His mask is now a visor. His logo is now a design worked into his black leather jacket. His powers are now earthquake like conclusive blasts. In the back is Hornet Woman and next to her is Gem Weaver. Gem Weaver is an amalgam of Gem Stone and Weaver. So like Weaver she creates constructs but like Gemstone they are made of gemstone. I see her being CG like Girder or Commander Steel.Then we have Tera Firma. He too would be CG like King Shark. In front of him is Shocking Suzy. I'm altered her costume to be CW TV all ages friendly. The red material would be a reflector texture and the blue is leather. Her lightning is red to further separate her from the Black Lightning design. And finally is Squid. I see him being mostly prosthetics. In each design the dial is their belt buckle. The dial is the size of a person's hand. I also imagine that when the dial is turned it sounds like stones rubbing together. The symbols and carvings are alien rather than American Alphabets. I foresee a few different possibilities. There could be one user, various different users, a team, or it could float Round to those who need it. It just mysteriously showing up in times of need. One story could see scientists, or our man cast, testing it, trying to open it up and then all 3 or 5 of them becoming super beings. And the show would see a new hero persona every episode or several an episode. In fact I see the Dial and the Heroes being introduced in Legends of Tomorrow.
