one of the major parts of being an idol was promotion and showing face. that meant attending events, going on variety shows, podcasts, and even some interviews and youtube channels. when zoey got the invitation to guest on a show, there was no need to even think about it - of course she'd go! however, when she saw who else walked out to share the spotlight with her, she couldn't help the low grumble that rumbled through the mic attached to her top, leaving the audience staring at her in complete bewilderment.

essentially, it was a question-and-answer session while the two partook in some games, tried foreign snacks, and messed around with cosmetic products. if you told zoey she'd be on this show doing one of the saja boys' makeup, she'd had laughed. yet, here she was. even if the time they spent together on camera and in front of the fans was fake, she'd actually had a lot of fun.

WHAT A SPECTACULARLY SHIT DAY. It began with Cazador's voice clawing at the edges of his mind, tearing its way through his trance to demand his whereabouts and that he return home. Nauseated and itching in his skin, he'd dragged himself from his bedroll only to realize that he was lightheaded from that very simple exertion. It'd been nearly a tenday since he'd last eaten. He'd gone longer before, of course, but he was fighting. This was more than being pretty and then limp and pliant in a filthy bed.

Astarion had spent the party's morning travels snipping at any attempt to check in. They could clearly see he was on edge and he felt no compulsion to hide it - only hope that they'd find something he could sink his fangs into before they turned back for the day.

No such luck.

What they'd found instead was a Bulette. Vicious, powerful, and a difficult take down. Wyll had rushed in, foolhardy hero type that he was, and gotten himself injured. Shadowheart fixed him up after, but then -

Then. Astarion grit his teeth as he trudged, angry and covered in half-healed wounds back into camp with the others at a safe distance from his ire. Karlach had thrown something into a swarm of bibberbang while he'd been trying to creep his way through it. By some miracle of luck he'd only been knocked unconscious by the ensuing explosion, but he was done. Done. If they wanted to go back out and do more, to the Hells with them. He wasn't coming until those idiots could get it together. He was feeling weak enough without being nearly blown up.

Halsin's question caught Astarion as he was throwing down his pack and daggers, tossing his body dramatically against a rock to scrub his hands down his face and scream into them. When they dropped away his lips and brows were twisted in rage.

The others knew to stay away when he was like this. Halsin, clearly new here, had bumbled into his own bear trap. How unfortunate for him.

sleeping was a hard enough feat for petra in general, never mind sleeping at a reasonable time. since the crash she'd struggled with sleeping alone, flashbacks and nightmares plaguing her at any given chance, hindering any chances of a peaceful night's rest. this was one of those nights. she'd fallen asleep around 9:30 and woken up a few minutes to midnight, panicked, sweating, panting- a total mess, really. so she took to the hallways, hoping a stroll around the place would calm her nerves. she was surprised, but also very relieved to see nagi, her boyfriend. for a moment she wondered why he was out here at this time, but remembered she'd answered his text when she was panicking, so he no doubt figured she was awake.

when they come together she isn't sure what to say, her lips part and clamp shut a few times before it's he that speaks, washing away all negative feelings that festering deep in her gut. his question is so simple, a easy yes or no, yet it takes a huge weight off of her shoulders. heaving a sigh of relief, a smile settles on her face. ❝ yeah... yeah, let's get a snack. ❞

EVERYONE TAKING TURNS ON DELIVERING A LETHAL BLOW AFTER ANOTHER! one gains its' attention, others attack. how coordinated this merry band has become, be it intentional or not. ... a deep slash delivered, golden stains with crimson. she leaps backwards after the blow, ensuring she has distance between the creature &. herself ; a flip done mid - air that delivers her gracefully onto the cold ground, knees bent as if ready to leap again. she lands beside xvilnar, yet both of them keep their eyes on the target.
