In 1973, Jackie's mom (Marie) moved to London, England to pursue her career in the arts as well as better medical help for her rare condition. They were a watercolor painter and seeking guitar lessons. On one stormy night, they had received a knock on the door by a strange man that wanted to stay in for the night since their car had run down and he had nowhere to go, saying they were a nurse at the hospital she visited for her medicine. Marie obliged and let him in, unaware he was a vampire. But that was seen right after she had witnessed seeing him be burned with a cross that fell on him from the space above the door of the guest room she had. She asks why he was here, and albeit very hesitantly, he had admitted that he had sensed that she had a lot of blood around, and was drawn to it's potent aroma. He had turned a little less than 7 months ago, and had recently been told by his master that they would be freed if they had drank blood. He could see the wheels turning in her head as he admits this, and was shocked when she offered him the chance to deal with her drained blood, if he was comfortable. It wasn't a bad idea, so he agreed to it. He understood PV was rare and dangerous, and being her live-in nurse helped with not being discovered by vampire slayers.

But, as time went on, he'd find himself visiting more often, even after being freed by their master to do whatever they liked. He wanted to know about Marie. He had felt like something had become of him, more than what he was supposed to be.

He'd soon discover, it was a genuine desire to be more than this. He was so grateful in what she did for him, and was happy that sentiment was mutual. They'd have their own little ceremony in 1974 since they obviously couldn't get married in a church, got the papers and gold rings, both doing their best to keep his true nature a secret when they had to measure both's ring finger.

Jackie's mom and dad fully expected to not be with child due to her dad being a True Vampire. So when Her mother found herself vomiting and unable to menstruate, one thing came to mind.

In 1975, Jaqueline Hawthorn was born, but was dubbed still-born. Not wanting to let his own child be dead, he gave them his blood, having made them the first dhampir/dhampirica. When Jaqueline's little voice suddenly became audible by the nurses outside, she was revealed to have been born with natal teeth- both lower and upper canines. The head nurse was surprised to hear Jackie was alive and a bit disturbed, but Marie hastily said the teeth was a genetic thing on her side of the family than nearly everyone inherited and it was a miracle that Jaqueline had the will to live. However, that didn't stop the nurse from blabbing about it outside the building, earning the attention of Alexander who was visiting.

It would only be 2 months after she was born that Jackie's father would be slain by Alexander, which unfortunately... was overheard by Marie on the phone. Marie would move to a farther part of London. Though her heart was broken that her love could not come back,she knew she had to carry on as she raised her child. She was torn whether or not to tell them of their true nature, but that dilemma was shut down when she realized not telling them would mean she was keeping secrets from the last part of him, and that often ended with many fights.

As Jaqueline grew up, Marie always told stories about their father, so they knew how loving and wonderful he was to her when they dated and got married. How he would have loved to see them grow up since they were, to his knowledge, a one of a kind. A dhampirica, a half human half vampire... it felt impossible, but here was Jackie, alive and well. She even had his platinum blond hair and a mix of her mom and dad's eyes. It was a joy to watch her daughter become the beautiful woman they were, even more so when they started to bond over Jackie's interest in music. Though, it was a little jarring to see her toddler carry around her guitar in it's case like it weighted absolutely nothing.

A little after her 18th birthday, Jackie would find her mother's condition become worse, and when she had come to get some meds, It was appalling to see the prices be so high. So, they tried to get money in the best way they knew how. They planned to get donations as they sung songs playing her mom's acoustic guitar. In that whole time, her first real vampiric power from her father's side would show. Though at the time, she believed it was because people were simply drawn to her. in a week, She'd get letters, asking permission to meet up with producers that wanted to further her talent. She'd reply back, saying she'd accept, on the condition they'd pay for the medical bills and medicine for her ailing mother.

She'd be gaining more and more fame as the years go by. She'd move on to rock, as she felt acoustic instruments was her mom's thing. She felt more in tune with rock music, and like many did, she had her own secret rendezvous. Especially with women. She was not lecherous by any means, Jackie just wanted to have fun and make sure everyone involved was having a good time. (This does not mean she isn't a virgin.) Then, in the latest show she did in 1999, she had caught the eye of The Hellsing Organization. Alucard and Seras was watching her perform with an onyx black guitar, fingering it's strings skillfully enough to make any human man blush. Her eyes glanced at them some, seeing they were newcomers. She had a feeling she'd see them again soon. Looked too interesting to miss. But, as per usual after finishing her last song, she'd hold her instrument by the limb and began to swing it down like an axe or hammer, shredding that piece of wood to pieces with all her pent up emotion, which made her audience cheer. Once it ended, she pretended to have sweat dripping down her face and took her shirt off, throwing it at Seras's face as a gift. With a flirtatious wink, she gets off the stage and prepared her stuff to leave in the limo.

No freak chip, definitely not a werewolf or True Vampire. Despite this, Alucard encouraged Seras to try and dispatch them, however puzzling their deal was. She'd approach Jackie as they were packing their guitar up. They had put their leather jacket on over their bra now and had heard them walking towards her. In her mind, Seras was quite cute, and didn't know what they wanted. So, acting as they usually do, they invited Seras to have some drinks and talk. Seras became even more confused, as they didn't show any sort of hostility or rebel vampire behavior. They were just... like a regular human being. Shaking their head inwardly, she continued on. As both talked, Jackie would ask about why they had come to her event. Feeling hesitant, it took but a second for Alucard to appear outside the door and open it to see her and Jackie getting close, greeting himself as he usually did. Already, Jaqueline had a feeling he wasn't human. His arms were rather long, and that grin was one she couldn't get out of her head. Deciding to not beat around the bush, she asked about who and what he was. Taking off his glasses to show his deep red eyes, he explained to her that he and Seras had been sent to investigate her. She asked if it was about her dad, and Seras's face dropped while Alucard's eyes widen when she admits her father was a True Vampire. Seras quickly asked about her mother, and Jackie instructs the driver to take her to her home.

Meeting Marie, all 4 sat down while she explained how they met, when both realized they wanted more and how it was when she was pregnant with them. Once all was said and done, Jaqueline was given the opportunity to be more than their rockstar self. Alucard wanted to see the full potential of her, and was certain Sir Integra would too. Seras felt rather happy when Jackie accepted, and hoped would become friends.

Sir Integra was exasperated when they brought her to the organization. But, given they weren't a human; it meant they wouldn't immediately die. Plus, She hadn't seen or heard of a dhampir/dhampirica before. Nor did Walter... Much research had to be done. Not to the extend of what was done to Alucard(she'd be fine but not happy about it), just a lot of mostly boring questions about her biology and physical examinations. In the meantime, Jackie told them about her mom, their rare blood cancer and what drove her to get where she is now. Marie was doing much better, thanks to the funding for her medicine being reached.

She was placed in a room near Seras's, and all her stuff was soon moved in, along with a soundproof room for her music stuff. But she opted out on bringing her mother here, as she had a feeling that would keep her safer. (Boy, did her intuition save her later on-) Jackie didn't know what to expect when it came to her weapon she'd be provided. She wasn't much of a firearm user like Seras and Alucard, but knew she couldn't just pummel a freak until their head came off... Until Walter came in wheeling in a box, revealing that it contained a war hammer. It's design all clicked in her mind instantly. Her performances usually contained a moment where she breaks a guitar, something she always felt was euphoric and therapeutic. Just being able to go apeshit and be encouraged to do it— Alucard and Seras must have seen it in her when she did that earlier that night. Her eyes sparkled, admiring every part of it. It incorporating who she was, and the ring around it, matching the pentagram on Alucard's gloves— It was perfect.

Much happens the same in the anime & manga. She helps Seras deal with the valentine brothers, mowing down opponents and giving Jan a few hard punches before he skedaddles to the 12 council only to get shot down by everyone in the room. Jackie liked seeing such a dickhead be so brutalized, and it reminded her of how she had dealt with some perverts in the start of her singing carrier. The body guards she had let her see them lay those fools out!

As soon as Iscariot came, and her eyes met with Alexander Anderson for the first time, her mind goes back to the time her mother, Marie, told her the news of her father and his death for the first time. She had a feeling, this man, was the one that killed him. Two months, and though she does not fully recognize her father's face, she believed her mother when she told her that he loved her. Ever since Marie had told her this, Jackie had always harbored a deep distrust of the church.

Alucard and Anderson were rivals, but damn it if she didn't want to repeatedly bash his head open right then and there with her war hammer, try to kill him for killing her father. A thousand times isn't enough.

Like Pip, she teases Seras a bit but also teases him, being a smug (affectionate) menace to both of them equally. She thinks he's funny, and Seras is too cute to not dote on for a little bit.

Jaqueline had stayed behind in the Rio trip to be closer to Sir Integra, and to deal with whatever they were feeling inside. She was unsure if it was friendship or romantic, but Jackie figured only time would tell what it would be. She just knew it would be something special. Maybe it would be the special feeling her mom once told her about. Some may get it, some don't. When Pip, Alucard and Seras got back, Jackie saw Seras looking a bit upset. So both talked and Jackie found out about what all happened in Rio. She really wanted to chew Alucard out for making Seras cry, even though what he told her about was a point well made. So, she spent the next few days training, drinking and spending time with them. Jackie was super happy for Seras when she becomes a true vampire. But the loss of Pip, even when he's now a familiar for them, still made her very upset, even shedding a few tears for a few moments after the fighting stops.

She refused to back away when Vladcard told Seras to go. She had a deep grudge and her motivation to help kill off Alexander for killing her dad was insanely strong. Him turning into the monster of god simply meant there was more of him to beat up, Using all of her strength to crush and break off and cut through any vines and thorns he controlled. She had half a mind to use her song based powers to direct his attention more onto herself. She went through with it by clicking on the microphone switch on her warhammer and adjusted the intensity. It being quite effective given it was the most emotionally charged song she ever did out of hatred. It also gave Alucard the edge in battle to finally kill him. After it came out that Walter was the one to betray everyone, She used her sonokinesis to deflect his cables and threads, using the bladed side to cut what she could. Though some did reach her legs and face, to a degree. But those healed after he was dealt with.

During the 30 years that Alucard had been gone... Jaqueline had found that her feelings for Sir Integra wasn't just sexual or mere servant and master loyalty. It was Love. The kind of Love that her mom once spoke of. But how was she to express her emotions? She never really been on a date before, and she knew it was alright if Sir Integra didn't reciprocate. She wasn't the master of them, and understood the trauma they had made them shape who they are. As nervous as she was, she made the first push, and would do it again and again over the course of many years. Jackie wanted to earn it. Be there for her, give the best advice she can think of if they meet a tough decision. Support whatever they are feeling. Anything to help them see that it came from a place of appreciation and love. She was shocked that she was given a chance way later on, and didn't waste it. She took Integra out to her favorite greasy burger joint (safe and with guards around) and had her favorite human food there. Jackie had to restraint her own hunger a little bit, for the date. She was a nervous wreck and her appetite was MUCH larger than any human had ever seen. Integra knew it well, as Jackie's file had stated (one of the many questions they were given when they started) she had been born with a gene that had made them much stronger than any normal human to begin with, at the cost of having the diet to match.

At last, when Alucard came back, she had stormed in with Seras, guitar in hand since she was in the middle of practice.

The biggest sigh of relief came out of her mouth as she realized it was just him. It was touching to see how much Seras cared about him, and her determination & confidence helped convince her to believe it too, as the years went by. She hosted a party for his return, playing songs and having food around, happy that things were whole again.

Vampiric abilities: Inherited her father's ability to go through mirrors and into a pocket dimension inside that can act as teleportation. Can also bring some people along as long as they are holding onto her when they go in. As a professional singer, they can normally sway emotions of those around her even without the powers. That being said, their own vamp abilities is song/sound based.

Sonokinesis: sound manipulation. it can deflect normal bullets, but Alucard's bullets would be much, much harder to redirect. It also messes with robotic stuff, such as messing up targeting systems, sensors, recording cameras, etc.

Musical Manipulation: Their singing acts like a siren song, but she hardly uses it like any other person who may have it as an ability. The more emotionally tied she is on a song, the more potent and powerful the ability is.

Super strength, thanks to her being half vampire. She'll age MUCH slower than humans and has good healing like Seras.

She was born with Myostatin, which is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MSTN gene. Myostatin is a myokine that is produced and released by myocytes and acts on muscle cells to inhibit muscle growth, which is something that strengthens the vamp side of her. This, however, makes her appetite quite large and she often eats a lot of human food to help fill herself up before getting any blood bags.
