My first ever embroidery piece
And I tucked in all the tails at the back just bc
As soon as I saw this hoop, I was all in. I really wanted to do this panel but finding a brake was hard bc I've never looked before. If I buy a brown one, I'll see how I feel about that bc it's only attached to the white part, the red is like a jelly plastic that comes off.
TECHNICALLY, it isn't my first embroidery piece bc I did a silly Miro face stuck in a wall but it was very VERY basic and I always forget about it bc it was like 6 years ago or something. I actually took this one very seriously and split the thread! I did however-
Do the outline first BECAUSE I like to test the rules. I like to do it the way I would like to do it THEN do it by the rules if it doesn't work. I want to know WHY that's the rule and if it's a valid reason then I'll listen and if my way works then I'll keep mine. This was fine. I did go over a few lines but my favourite part the ball bc it was my first color and it makes me smile at how neat it is. My close second is the left ear's fold bc the brown perfectly hides behind the black, I don't know if you'd get that indent if you did it over top but I guess I'll know next time if I try it normally!
Both star types are a different style, take a closer look!
