My 2 illust for the dgm big bang~ ✨✨✨

So, for the dgm big bang I did two illustrations. 

This is the second one for @/anawaregoose´s fic. About all the kids, including Alma, meeting at the rehab wing at a hospital even tho they already knew each other because of a mmoprg. Lena can´t use her legs properly, Lavi doesn´t have his eye because of cancer I believe? Allen doesn´t have his arm and Alma had cancer. 

Very disastrous health combo for our doomed boys.

But when he shows up on his doorstep and begs for help to lift a curse, Lavi risks it all to save him. 

Excerpt:

When Lavi didn’t speak up, the silence in the room stretching out too long, Allen said, “I wouldn’t have come here if I could’ve avoided it. I didn’t want to bother you, but…” Lavi’s lips twitched in displeasure, eyebrows narrowing at Allen’s roundabout way of avoiding explaining himself. “Just spit it out already. What do you want from me?” Allen stiffened up at the demand, eyes wide as he flinched back. Lavi almost expected him to run, too intimidated by his forceful tone to follow through and ask him for the favor. But instead, he complied. Allen pulled the glove off his left hand, fingers twitching as he worked the leather free of his digits. As the glove fell to the floor, Allen showed his hand to Lavi. The skin, once pale and perfect, was marred with black and red scarring. It was dry, scaly, and on the back of his hand, pressed into the center and surrounded by raw, aching flesh, was a black cross. Lifting his hand for Lavi to see better in the dim light of the bookstore, Allen trembled. His voice came out weak and weary, strained as he tried to keep from falling to pieces. “I’m cursed.”

As for the future of this event, I do hope people will participate again. I know a lot of people were burned out by this event, myself included. So, tentatively, we will be hosting this event again in two years. Lookout for posts in 2020!

This was the first time any of the Mods had hosted an event like this, and we would really like your feedback. We have already discussed doing things differently in the next Big Bang (specifically, having writers finish their fics before pairing up with artists to reduce participants dropping at the last minute), but any and all suggestions are welcome.

Excerpt:

Quickly, Kanda spoke.  “I should get going,” He started, words stiff and awkward.  As he said this, his own heart twisted, and he couldn’t think to explain why. Alma’s expression fractured a little, but he quickly rebounded.  “Oh, I gotcha!” He said, tone still light.  “But what are you doing tomorrow?  Can you meet up at all?” Kanda hesitated, his insides locking up. It felt like there was a heavy weight on his chest, and he was struggling to speak. Alma took note of the hesitancy, and a pleading look appeared on his face. “Please, Yuu?” Alma pressed, voice hopeful. “I know it’s probably kind of weird, but I mean, we’re running into each other after all this time, aren’t we? That has to mean something.” There was an almost playful edge to Alma’s voice, but it did little to ease Kanda. “You know I never believed in that crap…” Kanda murmured, before looking at Alma.  It was a mistake, because as soon as Kanda did so he could already see the disappointment appearing in Alma’s eyes, and his will immediately crumbled.
