Just for future reference, in Dexclan the “A” and “The” part of the name is an honorific/makes it formal- cats that are close just call each other the noun/adjective !
Adding additional adjectives or nouns are seen as endearing language too- A Sky -> Little Sky would be a cute nickname, or The Bleak -> Bleak Warrior could be a compliment or even a pet name!

Thinking about dexclan naming conventions once again as i work through the next update.. (why yes i am still very invested what did you think i left forever?)
Im really enjoying the idea that very blunt and seemingly insensitive names are a concept that isnt shied away from and is sometimes encouraged/seen as recognition
I think being named after a very strong trait of yours can be taken as either 1.) an accolade or 2.) an opportunity to grow into it/embody it in the best way you can...
I think a good example of this would be The Bleak which could be read as a negative trait but is instead a point of pride for her because she strives to balance said bleakness with her emotional sensitivity... kind of like a reminder of a vice..? and that it is strong to be its best self every day
So receiving a name regarding something that you actively fight to demonstrate in a healthy way can be seen as an honour as it kind of implies that the one giving you the name believes that you are strong enough to do so / thinks you do so well already
