hold your applause! i know all 0 of you have been requesting my never-asked-for opinion, so as an influencer I will provide!

the national dex dont even slap. all you people who are butthurt about how you wont get some random ass pokemon to fill your dex- do you really think the Pokemon company cares? About the opinion of maybe a couple hundred whiny pissbabies who want to fill their dex to replace the lack of clout they possess in life? And to those who might be furious with what I just said- you are literally just one person. Not even a significant portion of a statistic. For every angry white dude that threatens to boycott Pokemon because they won't get their 1000+ pokemon- a significant majority of which they'll never even use, hundreds more will be lining up to buy Sword and Shield. Pokemon is a corporation first, and a game second. They don't care about your opinion! They, like all game developers, chase sales! Ratings! and other things of that nature.

no and here's why: ngozi said that while dex is a republican at first, he's at least independent by the time he leaves samwell. while being independent doesn't preclude being a trump supporter, i do think that this is evidence of dex being influenced by his liberal peers to change his ideas and political alignment. further more, it's canon that dex and shitty have been known to have long, civil discussions about politics.

In addition, dex is known to be from Maine, a state whose republicans voted pretty definitively for Cruz in the primary. now working under the assumption that most trump supporters 1) take an "all or nothing" approach to trump's policies, i.e. agree with him wholeheartedly or are not trump supporters, and 2) would probably have a hard time having a civil discussion with someone as liberal as shitty, i would conclude that dex is probably not a trump supporter
