In the candlelit halls we weave through this Arcadian landscape— your home, that you’ve allowed me to take up this permanent residence.
You crafted it so carefully and brought me here. I walk through your sanctuary, realizing that you’ve adorned it with the devotions I offer you.
My hand traces the words I’ve written, etched in the stone— but I see you’ve painted them in gold, consecrating the liturgies I’ve given to you.
You bring us to the altar, stopping just shy. Soft smile I provide you with— and you reflect in kind.
I tell you, in the hush between heartbeats— that all I’ve offered was love, cloaked in reverence, knotted into every fragment, a whispered yearning: choose me too.
And you, without ceremony or rush, press your hand to mine, and in your gaze, the answer gleams: I already did.
