Shigeo didn’t visit arcades very often; he personally preferred the video games he had at home. However, there was something peculiar happening at RetroBlast that happened to catch his attention that day. Namely, the presence of a spirit. Well, poltergeist really, if you wanted to get specific.
A particularly violent one had possessed the arcade cabinets, causing the machines to spew out a flurry of tickets, tokens, and just generally wreaking havoc throughout the place. Of course, Shigeo wasn’t going to let this stand. And so, he tracked down the offending spirit and with a series of hand motions, exorcised it. A rather simple task for him at this point; actually cleaning up the place would likely prove more difficult.
And boy oh boy, what a mess that caused.
Looking around, most of the people here were still in shock. Some were even still panicking. Shigeo, for his part, turned his attention to the poor employee hiding behind the register.
“Sir? …Sir, the spirit’s gone. You can stop screaming now.”
