It had started off easy. One child, one spouse. A happy family. And then chaos happened, and fights happened. The family grew from three to two to four, then five. But when two became four, Albus started losing it. His spouse had died months earlier, and then his precious baby twins were born. The name he fell in love with, just so happened to be the name forbidden in all the family. And when asked permission, he was denied. And so he named the baby what he wanted too. A names a name, and permission be damned,
Thereâs bad things about being in a large family. Such as drama everywhere. Every member of his family had a say, and many were not happy at all. And the more unhappy and fights this causes, the more Albus started to break down. And for a while he was doing okay, and then he started teetering on the edges again.
It was getting bad, once again, only the usual things didnât feel as normal as normal usually did. Things were starting to become off again, and when the youngest daughter caught her father with a potion on the bathroom floor, instead of her grandfather, she went to her sister.
And in a flash she had flooâd across the world to her uncle. He was the only one who could seem to understand. And she was older, more mature than her siblings. She was leaving Hogwarts soon, in a matter of a year.
âUncle Jamie?â She calls out. She wants to hear him, she needs to hear from him, And when she hears nothing, she remembers that he has a job and goes to whatever he calls his day job. And much like the persistence of Jamesâ mother, she ignores all claims of authorized personnel only, and storms up to her uncleâs work space, heels clacking against the floor. He red hair is scooped up into a ponytail and sheâs not as put together as she normally is.
âUncle Jamie,â she says, and she means it. She can be threatening most of the time, if not all of the time. âUncle Jamie, I need you,â Itâs rather blunt. âDad needs you. Heâs passed out on the floor. Rileyâs got towels and stuff to stop the bleeding, but Dadâs really not doing well. Mentally, mostly..I know youâre probably one whoâs against him or whatever, but he needs you and I think Daddyâs dying-â She winces, sitting on the floor.âI canât lose the only father I have left....but Daddyâs getting worse....â
