ALBUMS OF THE WEEK! Here’s the albums that got the most track plays out of me. The winner by a hair was Mgła - Exercises in Futility. A modern classic black metal record. Next was Vredehammer’s Violator, a recurring favorite here, and one of my favorite albums of all time. I also played a bunch of 2021 releases, including new drops from Stormkeep, Spectral Wound, Bewitcher, and Mānbryne - all of which I highly recommend and included on my “Top 30” list. A fistful of $5 CDs thanks to Relapse’s blowout Black Friday sale. Devil Master - Satan Spits on Children of Light; Amenra - De Doorn; and High on Fire - Blessed Black Wings. I haven’t heard any of these before, so I bought myself a night of discovery and exploration.
