yeah...so first post and I have fallen down the fandom hole of devilman crybaby....yay.....
heya!! so you probably have gotten this ask before, but what do you use for pixels and the like? i really wanna make my own game but i decided that i want to get better with pixel art first, and i really love how yours looks!
I actually use Photoshop! I have a friend though who’s always used Paint (though i think Windows changed how Paint works?) so really, use a program you’re comfortable with. A definite plus is the ability to have layers because I find it makes things easy.
One thing that really helps with pixel art is palette choice. You can have the best pixel in the world but if the colors aren’t there, it kinda falls apart. I’ve also found that less is more in terms of colors (so you can probably stick to 3 or 4 colors per shade). I’m bad with words but I hope this was helpful!
