I think the Akimiki looks better in versions like Crybaby, the 1972 series and ova 3.
And the Ryokira in versions like Cyborg 009, ova 1 and 2 along with the mangas.

I want an honest AkiMiki to happen, but it's more like Amon x Miki. Akira's will in relation to protecting Miki and "Bad boy-isms" seems more like Amon than Akira. And Akimiki's relationship seems superficial since she didn't like him as much when Pre-Amon. However, I never want to say that they're like siblings Pre-Amon because that just seems extremely rude to AkiMiki fans.
