Part 3 of expression meme requests!!

Jem and Beck were absolute darlings to draw! Fives and Echo were fun, though it’s hard to make Echo look distinct because he’s got the most basic haircut and no defining facial hair or tattoos. Hardcase was probably the hardest to draw because I could Not Find the proper colors for his tattoos and had to take a wild guess!

The skirmish has moved on but Dev remains with the young padawan. They’re obviously overwhelmed, huddled on the ground with their hands over their ears, eyes squeezed shut.

Dev knows what to do, and sits quietly nearby, waving away any troopers who approach.

After a while the padawan seems better, and begins to rock slowly. When they pause and dart a shy glance at Dev, he smiles and merely starts patting his thighs. It’s a nice rhythm, and relaxing.

The padawan smiles back, suddenly giggles, and begins rocking back and forth again.

Also funny you ask that because my Jedi OC Si-Lin actually is ADHD! Her and Lt. Fern are pretty close friends and when they’re not busy with other things they hang out together. They both love plants and biology as well as geology so when they get together its like *taking rocks, leaves, and flowers out of their pockets* “Look at this!!!” “I found this cool plant you told me about the other day!!”  Solidarity

As for the boys in the BADDS squad, if they were to meet a Jedi or padawan with ADHD and/or ASD:

They’d all be great to be around because they all have adhd (minus Breakaway), and especially the main five of the squad.

Any infodumping or long and rambling conversation would be fun for Allip and Berry. Allip is a fantastic listener and would remember everything, Berry is a chatterbox and can talk with someone for hours

Stimming? Dev’s your man. Dev is the most stimmy of his brothers and would be so excited to see someone else doing it too (I also like to think a Jedi/padawan with ADHD/ASD would also have Force related stims because how cute is that?)

Stub has lots of little baubles and odds and ends in his pockets to fidget with, he’d be perfectly happy to share with a fidgety young padawan. Dusty keeps snacks on him at all times so he’d share those too for a hungry or fidgety padwan

Even a well trained Jedi or padawan could have meltdowns or struggle with sensory overload sometimes and the BADDS lads could help with those. Need a hug for some grounding pressure? Dev or Dally. Just sit quietly with a companion? Allip or Stub

Just in genera, the five batchmates of the BADDS would be great to interact with for a Jedi or padawan with ADHD/ASD since they’ve all grown up with it themselves! I didn’t really mention Needle or Marsh, but they’d be good to interact with too, Marsh is super energetic and Needle does whatever he does so they could keep up with whatever games or fast paced missions a jedi or padawan would get up to
