Halloween Headcanons Day 2: Costumes
Apple would pull a Sheet Ghostâ˘. Pull a sheet off the bed, cut some holes in it. Boom--ghost. Except he wouldnât cut holes in it because he wouldnât want to ruin Master Clayâs nice sheets. Instead, heâd just wait until Master Clay and Benji were gone, trick-or-treating or otherwise, and heâd take the sheet he pulled off earlier that day (âMaster Clay wonât mindâ) and just straight up stumble around blindly. If Clay happened to walk in on Apple doing this, he wouldnât even mind. He figures at least Appleâs not all over him.
Once he got comfortable enough, heâd try to pull the same thing at Jimmyâs, but Jimmy absolutely wouldnât have it and heâd either cut the holes for him or bring him shopping for a real costume.
Benji... does not like Halloween, especially not with Clay. He dresses them up in revealing âprettyâ outfits and, if theyâre especially good, Clay walks them around for a few blocks to trick-or-treat. Sometimes thereâs parties at Clayâs friendsâ houses, which they hate.
The first time trick-or-treating with Jimmy, Benji picks the most modest full-body costume they can find, probably an animal onesie thatâs meant to be PJs, although Jimmy doesnât say anything against it. That or they flat out refuse, as they do during their first Halloween there.
Jimmy--I donât even know lol. I think heâd dress more on the cutesy/nerdy side, because scaryâs not his thing at all. He doesnât really go trick-or-treating anymore either, just because he never really has an excuse to (before Apple and Benji of course), and because heâs been told âArenât you a little old to be trick-or-treating?â too many times.
Clay would unironically dress as the devil. He doesnât really do sexy so much as âsophisticated,â and--yâall know the show Lucifer, the one where Luciferâs played by Tom Ellis? I feel like heâd try to do that, and the worst part is heâs like... kinda good at it lol. Not that anyone knows who he is for the most part, so he throws on a pair of horns for good measure and calls it a day but only if itâs for a party. He doesnât really dress up when he dresses up Benji, because he doesnât want to detract from how good they look in their costume. .
