1- Describe your comfort zone -a typical you-fic.
as far as actual story structures go, most of my finished works are plotless character studies, however in the past in collabs with other authors, we've written full novels.
in terms of themes, we tend to write a lot of sci-fi, or sometimes fantasy. the tone tends to be darker, we usually do our best to address real world issues within the context of our story- our characters usually struggle with similar types of oppression as we do. that, and sometimes we're just in the mood to write a hurt/no comfort fic lol
5- Share one of your strengths.
i really like worldbuilding!! i do a ton of behind the scenes work for the big project we have going with our coauthors, dealing with a lot of the science of why different mechanics work, what the different creatures and plants are, creating conlangs when appropriate, and mapping out all the storylines to make sure everything lines up and we don't write everything, only to figure out later that people are in different places in different storylines at the same time XD
17- Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?
i usually go by inspiration!! for me, that usually means writing the beginning, then writing out a few scenes that are living in my head. after that, sometimes i just keep writing until i run out of ideas, but if i have an actual plot in mind (i usually don't lmao) i write up an outline so that i know what happens when, and then i jump around as i feel the urge but it's usually pretty linear, lol
