I select the residential building on states island side, and the commercial building on Manhattan side to describe the relation in between two points.

I choose this layer in order to show how public transportation system collect people to take the ferry.

I use this layer to show a walkable area from the ferry terminals.

I use this layer to describe the unseen environment of the ferry route.

During the researching stage, I found that the ferry route is actually crossing part of the area of New Jersey.
