Mulan is my original favorite Disney movie ever. This is a Disney movie that I have loved for as long as I can remember and still love now. It’s not a traditional fairytale where the princess goes an an adventure or has some evil villain threatening her life specifically. Mulan is a very different Disney “princess” (she’s technically not a princess) also. She’s strong, clever, determinated but she also struggles a lot with who she is and what she’s meant to do. Mulan kind of creates her own problem. She screws up her matchmaking so she decides to step up and help her father and fight in his place. She knows what she got herself into though and she doesn’t back down from the fight. I love her. Li Shang is also a very different love interest. He doesn’t take anyone’s crap and he’s kind of a lone wolf. He has a lot of respect and kindness in his heart. Chien-Po, Yao and Ling are freaking amazing. They are absolutely hilarious but also really sweet and wonderful friends. Everyone obviously loves Mushu too and his sassiness and loyalty. The movie is really crazy and action-packed and intense. It has it’s really fun and light moments but it also gets pretty deep and emotional at times. I love the music. You’ve got the more upbeat and fun ones like “A Girl Worth Fighting For” and “Bring Honor to Us All”. You’ve got intense ones like my favorite “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” and you’ve also got emotional ones like “Reflection”. Mulan and Li Shang’s relationship is really cute because they don’t really get off on the right foot a few times but they still see the person the other is deep down and love and respect them for that. And of course I love it’s message that everyone has a purpose even if it’s not what you or anyone else thought.

Praying for her🤧 education is so important
