“Who in their right mind sits like that?” He should’ve just carried on with his day, ignoring the strangers weird sitting habit, but this was him and he was known to just pop out of the blue and be a judgmental jerk. “I mean, nobody sits like that, why do you?” Lilac eyes are narrowed, his arms crossed over his chest as he literally just stares the stranger down, totally in a judgmental manner.

Arms are folded across his chest in a defensive gesture. He hasn’t told...anyone about this. Not even Mello. If anything, he desperately craved L’s approval. He tried his best not to—he was a grown man, after all—but a part of him still wanted L to care for him. “Hey...I have something I need to tell you.” This ‘something’ has been building in his chest since he was a mere child. This something only started to really come to a head after his near death experience but...it still mattered, didn’t it? All of it still mattered.
