Topi's Daily Card #147: Destructor Dragon
Happy Fate Reforged prerelease weekend! I got myself an intro deck and to be honest my boosters weren't amazing, but I'm perfectly happy with the cards I got. The one foil I got was this gem, so I'm more than happy to have a foil, green dragon. This guy is a little underpowered I suppose for 6 mana at first glance, but green getting a 4/4 flyer is just isn't really heard of, so it's understandable to see him a little lower on the uncommon power scale. When it dies you get to blow something up though, so that weakness can be seen as a strength if you think about it. I can see this being thrown into some EDH decks here and there, but a lot of rare overtake it in terms of utility like Acidic Slime and the like. Regardless I'm happy to have this be my first foil from Fate Reforged, and I can't wait to crack more more packs. I'll have my rares from the packs probably tomorrow and Monday, so stay tuned!
