@sharknadoblog So, Lucifer x Destiny
Do you think Lucifer sees something of their twin Michael in Destiny? That both endears and infuriates them in equal measure. That stalwart attitude to duty above all else. Even sometimes above family and personal wants.
And/or… There's some daddy issues being worked through here. After all, Destiny as an aspect represents one of the very things about their father that frustrates Lucifer the most. Yet with Destiny, while Lucifer is unable to manipulate the eldest endless, there seems to be a lot less of an imbalance. They're able to engage on a more personal, changeable level. There's a fascinating pull/push between Lucifer, almost embodying free will and Destiny, fate. Destiny even deems himself ‘malleable’ for Lucifer… Which quite frankly Destiny, since when have you EVER been malleable?
(Using they/them pronouns for Lucifer in light of the netflix show, but feel free to use he/him as he's gendered as such in the comics if you prefer. My personal headcanon is Lucifer can appear as both Bowie or Christie. Cake and eating it! 😅 )
