This next song was inspired by a piece of music that my father, who was a classical musician, played me. He played me a recording of the "Chaconne in D Minor" by Bach. And I just thought, God… That's a particularly percussive piece in a lot of ways. The staccato notes reminded me of a really good rap verse. I was just blown away. And I was also just mesmerized by how hard you would have to practice to get that good because that comes at a cost, a personal expense. And often masters of craft are sort of journeymen of human relationships. So this is a song about that.
