Leon would have a very hard time saying one way or another, at least out loud, but right now there are a couple contenders. The interesting thing is that only one of them has been purely healing, as opposed to equal parts heal and hurt.

The first, who has been purely healing for him, is Vember Marlon. The first Gilnean he met after he came out of his self-imposed exile, and a terribly stodgy woman who was put off by his general boisterousness and willingness to dress in ridiculously brightly-colored things, Vember eventually became his best friend and closest confidante. He was able to talk about home with her in a way nobody outside Gilneas would ever really be able to relate to, especially since she’s also a druid (and a harvest witch, on top). She’s been the one to push him to improve as a druid and has been instrumental in his success in doing so. They freely refer to each other as big sister and little brother now, and they mean it.

The other two are Valarin Sunstorm and Kaewynn. The latter, of course, is now his wife, but they started out on extremely tentative and increasingly rocky footing, to the point that Kaewynn once took off Leon’s collar in anger and they didn’t fully reconcile for at least a year (possibly longer; I cannot remember for sure). He loves her with his entire soul, but he also had to learn to trust her all over again; as a consequence, he learned how to advocate for himself, and that it was necessary for him to do so.

Valarin... well, Leon is a caretaker, a nurturer, a therapy dog in the wrong body. He and Valarin get along because they are both caretakers and both need to be handled carefully; Leon is simply further along in his own healing process than Valarin is. Leon finally came to accept that Valarin has been instrumental in helping him not feel like a detriment or threat to everyone he meets. Unfortunately, they are also both extremely dangerous for one another for the same reason, and Leon expressing that sort of...backfired. In precisely the manner he was afraid it would. So he’s in an ugly place right now, and so is Valarin, and it’s (to his view) all his fault.

Val isn’t entirely sure where he’d like his party to be! He knows that some have been at bars. He’s still new to the whole ‘living in a home’ situation, but he suspects it’s too small for a party with his friends. He’s been thinking about some of the taverns in Pandaria for it. It would have to be someplace neutral, so his friends could all come.

If he had his way, he would absolutely have light blue streamers and glitter. The glitter thing is rather easy, because he’s friends with several Succulent Tarts!

Music is a tough question. He only owns five- well, now it’s four- albums. That ‘Madonna’ lady had some pretty dance-y music, though it was rather flirtatious! He’d have to get some more advice on that.

He wants tea sandwiches and mini cupcakes. Small foods are more manageable to him, so he generally prefers them. For drinks he’d have tea, coffee, water, juice and any alcohol besides beer.

PARTY GAMES! He’s so excited to have party games. He’s honestly half-tempted to have everyone sit in a circle making friendship bracelets, but that’s not always everyone’s cup of tea. There are certainly lots of fun things they can do. Obviously there’s the ‘Never Have I Ever’ and ‘Two Truths and a Lie,’ but those can get pretty crazy! They’ll have to see how things go.

Jogging had become a beloved pastime, for some inexplicable reason.  Maybe it was because he had missed the temperate weather and beautiful colors that Silvermoon and Eversong Woods had to offer.  Or maybe it was just a damn good way to work off a hangover.  A little of both, he reckoned.  He slowed near the park, resting both hands atop his head as he fell into a walk to try and catch his breath.  There had been others jogging, some parents playing with their children and what looked to be a group of guys about to play...was that a Battle Ball?

He didn’t have to ask himself twice as a ball was suddenly flying towards him.  Thank the Light for quick reflexes and for his love of Battle Ball.  Hands instinctively reach out to snag the ball from the air and press it in against his chest.  Ohh shit, someone was talking to him too.  He popped out the little device from his ear that had been blasting music before wandering over to the group.  He was pretty sure he knew the question, but it had been a damn long time since he played.  Once upon a time he was adept at the sport.  It was like riding a bicycle, right? He was probably going to pay for this.

“Sure.  What position do you need?”  Seven stood a little below 6 foot, his body compact but well muscled, he was definitely no lineman and looked more to be built for speed and agility.

@penvenomstarkstar  You are such a good and patient person. I adore you more than I can ever say. No matter what you always are game to try out something and run with it making it something more. I am looking forward to our stories and no matter how long it takes it will be glorious.

@silentasagrave  From the silly to the serious you always bring good conversation to the day. Even when I don’t agree we still can find common ground and move forward. Also THAT WAS MY CAKE :p  <3 U and love our RP our OW and DBD shenanigans and just our friendship in general.

Oh, he does a -lot- of thinking. Thoughts about wedding prep these days, about the shop, his various employees, how he misses his friends when he hasn’t seen them for a time. Usually, though, his thoughts tend to drift to Nai when he settles in. Probably because he sleeps next to her and enjoys physical closeness when sleep takes him. Sappy, I know.Other times, though, when thoughts are just keeping his brain going for too long? He’ll read. Late night tends to be a good time for an interesting page-turner, and it’s not an incredibly uncommon sight for Nai in the morning to find an opened book in her fiancée’s lap.
