from the murky depths of Denmark come Phrenelith, who caught my attention on a killer split with Spectral Voice. they released a couple of crushing demos that remind me a lot of Contagion, which is high praise.

they’ve cleaned up their production some and have delivered a real meaty slab of OSDM style music with enough of their own contemporary voice to separate themselves from the pack. strong songwriting and delivery always count, folks.

another great release from the last couple of weeks or so. it’s really great to see so many cool bands doing cool things.
