Pasalnya setelah lama absen dari industri smartphone, perusahaan satu ini diketahui akan merilis smartphone baru pada tanggal 16 Juni nanti. Meskipun tidak ada pernyataan resmi dari perusahaan, pada halaman resmi HTC terpampang sebuah poster yang bertuliskan ‘Save The Date. 2020. 06. 16’ lengkap dengan siluet sebuah smartphone. Informasi mengenai rencana HTC kembali merilis smartphone sendiri sudah bocor beberapa waktu lalu. Perangkat yang disebut HTC Desire 20 Pro tersebut merupakan smartphone untuk pasar kelas menengah. Ini akan menjadi ponsel comeback HTC setelah absen selama kurang lebih 3 tahun di industri ponsel pintar. Spesifikasi HTC Desire 20 Pro HTC Desire 20 Pro dikabarkan akan membawa layar LCD berukuran 6,5 inci, layar tersebut membawa resolusi Full HD+ 1080 x 2340 piksel, dengan kerapatan layar 400ppi. Selain itu, smartphone terbaru HTC ini dikabarkan akan menggunakan chipset Snapdragon 665 dengan GPU Adreno 610.
