There is absolutely nothing wrong with thrifting. Rich people call it consignment. There’s two ways to do this online or in person.
Online thrifting can be scary especially with using Ebay, Poshmark, Depop, etc. Luckily there are sites such as Farfetch, SSense and StockX are all legitimate companies that sells authentic products.
Depending on what city you reside there may be treasures inside the Goodwills and Buffalo Exchanges. However I suggest you check Boutique Thrift stores, actual consignment stores and most importantly private owned shops.
(When I lived in Portland my favorite spots were House of Vintage and Redlight located on Hawthorne)
