Pure simplicity was the moto of this illustration.
I wanted to go rustic but simple was a better direction. I believe that the look took the inspiration quite literally, with all the lines and the shapes, resulting in a modern and classy design.

I have started to play around with my models.. The colours of H&M's body set are so soft and childish, that's why I have decided to have a child model in this design.
The space was so little to show the metallic effect on the triangular epaulettes so make sure you check Instagram for the edited version.
Going curvy for the first time with a new model.. I was inspired by the curves in the bottle and the flowers are represented in the pleated centre of the dress.
I wanted it to be a sophisticated printed dress but it turned out a swimsuit 🤷🏻♀️
You can obviously see that the inspiration was a sea fragranced bath kit (body wash and lotion) from Lulah, I had the sketch printed to make sure that I use the exact pattern on the packaging.
Making design more delicious with dorset cereals 🤤
You'll not believe me if I said that I've been looking for this flavour for a year.. I kid you not! I'm soo glad that I have finally found it and thats why I dedicated a sketch for it 😭
Even though I wanted to do this illustration so bad, i didn't have enough time to do it properly.. So basically it could be one of my sketchiest minimum-effort design 😩

Inspired by lottie london lip balm, I tried to capture the solid sharp structure with punchy joyful spirit.
I really love lotties' packagings and colours, they're always pretty and edgy at the same time.

Hi there..
It's been a while since my last illustration project and I figured out that I can't live without it..
Welcome to a brand new idea that I've been working on for ages but never got the time to do it, until I decided to ditch everything around me and go back to really who I am as an artist.
In this series, I'll be inspired by product packaging that have always caught my eyes and designers have worked on very hard, I've always thought "we can't just throw that in the bin!" but also you cannot keep them forever! So here's a way to keep those creative containers in mind and in a contributive way.
During this project I'll be posting the product, sketch and tools I used to create the look. On Instagram, you'll fine a well representation of the product and look with fancier editing.
I started here with @cathkidston-blog bluebell and jasmine hand cream. The star, the flowers and the red dashed lines are the fundamental elements. I used some makeup glitter to make the roses more shimmery.
Have you done this thing before? What would you design out of this cream tube?
