❝Crocodile...❞ Nami uttered out on a growl, chocolate gaze narrowing a fraction. Remember him? How the hell could she forget about what he'd done? Taken advantage of his position as a Warlord and almost succeeded in destroying an entire kingdom; her friend's kingdom. He'd just about succeeded in killing her Captain as well, if not for Robin's intervention. No, such detestable acts would never leave her mind. Never. Fists clenched at her sides, fingers itching to grab her Clima-Tact strapped to her thigh and give him a real piece of her mind. She was stronger since the last time he'd seen her, and the entire crew who were there to witness his defeat at the hands of Luffy knew his greatest weakness, even as a Logia user. Fortunately, she had control over that exact weakness, and she wasn't afraid to use it. Adrenaline coursed through her veins, heating her blood and drowning out the fear that initially had her frozen to the spot. ❝What are you doing here?❞ She finally asked after a few moments of tense silence, hearting thundering in her chest and ears.

Jinbei is not comfortable with intimacy. He never saw himself with a woman falling for him. The idea of marriage will make him very uncomfortable. Jinbei would rather be single. For the rest of his life.

“As often as needed. Don’t tell me that kind of thing bothers you of all people.” Sarcasm heavily laced in the surgeon’s words. He’s certain the other has doubts of the man everyone called surgeon of death. Law wasn’t going to hand out numbers. Numbers didn’t matter. They were all stepping stones on the path to fulfill his plans. 

“Ouh it could be just one of few things indeed boy. Trust me when ya want to show how far ya can go despite the age, its a pretty satisfying feeling”

For a brief moment, she was silent considering her thoughts playing out a few scenarios in her mind. “If I was to go back to my past, with my current knowledge of things. Hmm, I’d actually steal the devil fruit I posses right now much sooner along with little valuable information and maybe.....without bloodshed make my family stand on top. Possibly take the crown of the head of the family for myself since I’d be the most capable one to take the charge.”

(( As for climate, I really don’t like where I’m living currently. It’s too hot and gross in the late summer and waaaaaay too cold in the winter, not to mention the high elevation and how dry it is most of the time. The seasons here have their ups and downs and I honestly go back and forth on my opinions a lot, but I think I really like both late spring/early summer and early fall. Perfect temperature-wise. ))

“She’s gonna be like this for a while,” Ikkaku sniggered. “The Planet of the Apes movies are literally her worst nightmare. Seriously, she loves most animals, even rats and bats and snakes and all the other creatures most people consider creepy, but she just can’t stand those damned, dirty apes.”
