Feet heavy as she comes in, blazing hell as usual, annoyance painted out on her features, sinking down into the booth beside Joaquin, eyes already rolling before she even takes her seat. She would always be the BABY she knew it, yet still it irked at her whenever reminded of it. She was ALMOST eighteen, a little shy of a month and still treated like some fragile infant unable to make CHOICES for herself. Jug had joined, at SIXTEEN but the rules were different for her, weren’t they always?
“ You know what’s BULLSHIT --” she begins, not bothering to wait for a cue to continue, but Joaquin should know her well enough now know she won’t, “ this DOUBLE STANDARDS sexist bullshit, just because I’m a GIRL i get treated like a kid, when lets be real here, i love my brother but he made some pretty FUCKING stupid choices when dad was in prison, and he gets to STAY -- but i even breath a word about wanting to make my membership OFFICIAL and they’re practically whipping out the flyers for the Sisters of Quiet Mercy to shut me up -- UGH !! ” finally catching a breath, before a snorted laugh come out, head shaking as she grabs his bottle of beer taking a swig, a shrug of her shoulders as she slouches back in the booth, waiting for some form of vindication from Joaquin.
