a ring to it | catalina & romanio
I’m outside. Hurry up.
Locking his phone soon after sending the initial text, he relaxed back into his seat. The move into his newest house was going smoothly, but organising a driving team was more trouble than it was worth. Still, he favoured the mediocre size of the mansion just outside of Ashbourne. Nothing like his place back in LA, but he wouldn’t be staying here too long. Less than a year, perhaps.
Today, he was to take Catalina engagement ring shopping. He’d requested that she not tell anybody until she was wearing the ring herself. Roman was one for delayed gratification. He was patient and predatory, much like a panther. Much like any cat, really. He waited over a hundred and fifty years to figuratively pin Cat to the ground and rip her head off. Break her spirits like she broke his heart all those years ago. Maybe he broke hers. He couldn’t quite remember anymore.
As the door opened to his left, he sat up before offering a smile to the small brunette.
“Beautiful day, isn’t it?”
