Is Crystal bigger or is these Derry canon bigger? 😺vs💣 Looks like the canon is taller by just a few cat hairs! In 2005, the Derry City Council decided to restore the surviving 24 cannon. Under expert supervision by hand, craftsmen cleared the barrels of centuries of rubbish, stripped off layers of paint and corrosion, and bathed, sponged and waxed the cannon back to their former glory. The cannon are displayed throughout the City Walls. An impressive effort to maintain these artifacts for future generations to enjoy. When I first saw this canon, I was surprised how big it was. I’ve only seen canon balls on the ground or canons that were shorter than me, but this one was impressive!
